I love how the Event's 'Overview' landing page is designed, and would love to use it more, but at the moment its weird method of organisation is utterly confusing and not fit for purpose. Please take a look at the below V4 Events Overview page, from my own site: As you can see, it's insanely confusing and all over the place. October's view has an entry that is labelled as "September" (I understand why; because it's a multi-date event that ends on 6 October; but at a glance it is super confusing for users), multiple ended entries at the start of the list except for the couple of entries that are actually at the END of the list(???), and all the while the actuall…

When there are any filters active, please render a "Clear Filters" link in the forum Breadcrumbs like so for a better UX - Home > Clear 4 Filters > rest of the breadcrumbs... Also the Topics heading could have the same clear link as under (with a separate CSS selector) - Topics (Clear 4 filters) The Clear Filter link should persist until all filters are cleared by clicking on the link or manually unchecking all the checked filter checkboxes. This will visually indicate to the user why s/he is not seeing all the topics.

My suggestion is to hide the unselectable menu items and leave only those that we can select.

It would be great to have a feature to search for a hyperlink that is not displayed as text.

I use Herd for local development on my Mac. Herd uses .test local domains so I can install multiple dev/testing instances of my PHP apps (as opposed to placing each instance on a separate localhost port). Only problem with this set up is that Invision Community doesn’t recognize .test domains as being localhost domains. Can you please allow multiple installations on local .test domains? I want to have installations of both v4 and v5 on my mac at the same time. https://herd.laravel.com Herd works great for all kinds of PHP apps, not just Laravel apps. I have Herd Pro which supports MySQL, Redis, and MinIO. This makes it very easy to test under var…

I have anonymous posting and replies enabled on a few of my forums. It can sometimes be confusing to tell whether anonymous replies are from the OP or from other users replying anonymously. Would it be possible to have the author indicator appear on the anonymous OP's replies as well?

As of right now, if Zapier is used to create an item, it can almost do everything. In fact, it can do all sorts of neat things like setting IPs and statuses that I didn't even know were in the software, but oddly it cannot fill in Meta Keywords or the Meta Description on the pages app. The only other fields it cannot seem to utilize are upload fields and I can write that off as a technical thing, but the Meta Fields are just text-based. Maybe I have missed something? But with how great AI is for meta details, I feel like this is a lacking option.

The title and meta tags editing tool must support localization. But, it currently does not, making the tool completely useless for multilingual communities.

I’d love an option to disable public view counts for articles and even forum topics. We’ve become accustomed to seeing this because it has been around forever, but I think it’s detrimental to a community. Encouraging everyone to participate can be really tough for those whose topics or blog posts don’t get many views. People get discouraged easily. Plus, view counts play into the whole “more followers is the goal” ideology, rather than good content and community are the goal.

Currently, even if the user knows the issue and removes the offending substrings in the posted Links, the post/comment still stays in moderation until a mod approves it. When the user removes the filtered substrings (highlighted) in Links and re-submits the topic/comment, the item should go out of moderation and post the item normally.

1) When a post hits any of these filters, it goes into moderation but does not point out which exact filter/s was blocking the post. Please display or highlight the substrings that are matching any filters to help identify the issue. It would also help if these are highlighted to the user when they post so they can edit and remove those matched strings and re-submit. 2) Currently, even if the user knows the issue and removes the offending substrings, the post/comment still stays in moderation until a mod approves it. I don't see what the issue here is with instagram embed link below (instagram links are currently not added to Word Filters or added to Links &…

It would help to have a Notes column for each word/link/email filters in the ACP to record our internal comments of what is it and why it was added.

Please provide a config setting in ACP to display user icons in topic listing on right or left regardless of Fluid View (some sites may like icons on the left). Also in tablet mode, username who posted the last comment is not displayed on the right even though there is enough room above the date field that is a wasted space.

Hi IPS, Can you bring such blockade? Then display a message that the products must be purchased in separate cart. Some stores don't have same payment methods for every product what complicates selling in single cart where customer is going to final phase of purchase and can't pay. It is pissing customers who often leave then.

We have a paid membership forum area where an expert answers questions. These are usually long and open-ended so there's usually a long list of topics open and unsolved at one time. I would appreciate a way to filter the topics on a forum for authors who are in a certain group (one that still has access). This would be quite helpful for the experts in the forum to filter down to a list of unsolved topics only from people who are still current paying members.

Scammers are an increasing problem for community managers. Most of our moderation efforts (daily) now revolve around security rather than moderating actual discussions, which for a community of over 100,000 members is a nice problem to have, I guess. However, the biggest issue we see these days is hijacked accounts. Not new accounts. Their account has been compromised in an external data breach, and of course, because too many people use the same password everywhere, they eventually get into our community after monitoring their victim's email inbox for a while. The first thing they do once they get access to a user's account is change their email address to…

Hi, When we use a custom SMTP withh TLS or SSL Invision is using by default the "AUTH LOGIN" but in some case this is not supported by the SMTP server. Example Protonmail SMTP only support "AUTH PLAIN". See my comment here:

Collections are a common feature that basically act like "albums" for downloadable items: https://matlib.gpuopen.com/main/materials/collections Often times the download sizes for a pack of items that belong together is prohibitive, but you still want to be able to easily view what items belong together, so you can pick and choose the things that fit. Categories are not sufficient for this, because different authors always have slightly different art styles, even from project to project, and mismatched items clash badly. Here you can see there are 47 items that work well together. At 4K resolutions the total download size would be 4 GB. It's much easier and …

Currently, widgets have Visibility settings for phone, tablet and desktop. Please add User Groups under Visibility. For instance, we would like to not render some widgets for guests/search bots to reduce page size for faster loading and better SEO.

Please provide a switch in Pages to enable Private records (which only the author + admins can view). This will limit users to see their own bugs in databases like incidents, grievances, claims, etc. where users should be able to see only their own records. (similar to Forum setting switch “Users can see questions asked by other users?”) https://preview.invisionalpha5.com/topic/180-please-include-bug-tracker-module-in-v5-as-an-optional-app/?&do=findComment&comment=758
