I have a couple of words which trigger the word filter. I have selected the following option for the trigger: Action to take: Hold content for moderator approval When triggered, the following message is displayed in the post header: This content must be approved before it can be edited. But the content is editable (by the member). I do not know if the above is an incorrect text string or if the post should be uneditable.

"Prepare for v5" told me to come here. I am here to discuss! Does this mean "Prepare for v5" detected a Q&A forum? If it does that is interesting as I don't believe I have one! Ted.

As of now, the star rating can be enabled for certain forums. To get a “real rating” forum, two features are missed: show number of stars (total rating) in the topics list set Default sort order in Display settings of forum by rating (e.g., highest to lowest) Due to the deprecation of Q&A forums, where sorting by votes is possible, in IC5 we will lose any ability to sort topics by ratings or votes. Right?

Great that v4.7.19 has now added the message-id. However, testing the emails with https://www.mail-tester.com/ it reports the following error "1.2 INVALID_MSGID Message-Id is not valid, according to RFC 2822". After some research it seems the generated id plus url should be surrounded with angled brackets as the image attached. I modified the file "Smtp.php" found in ../system/Email/Outgoing to add these angled brackets and it no longer reported the issue. Additionally, I'd like to be able to change the url. Its not good practice to use your companies main domain for emailing newsletters as there is a high chance of it be reported for spamming. We…

Hi, With the new 4.7.19 upgrade, a new option is shown at each report: "Change submission reason". See screenshot below. However, we don't have any report type (Reporting Content > Manage Report Types) configured. IMHO, the button "Change submission reason" should only be displayed if we have more than one report type configured. If no report types or if only one report type is set, it makes no sense in displaying this button. Cheers, Gabe.

I have this notification. So, I am using two custom blocks. One is plain HTML. The other one has some JavaScript and just a php echo to insert the script. Can I use this somehow in v5?

I was wondering if there's a major difference between MariaDB and InnoDB. I know Maria works in the IP 4 and with the IP 5 coming out there will be requirement to use InnoDB. Is there a specific reason why InnoDB is needed?

Appreciate you sorting the "popular now" functionality. However the "Trending Content" widget on our site remains the same 3 topics despite them not being "popular" any more. Any idea if this is supposed to refresh and how often? Cheers.

Good morning awesome folks. I just had a little suggestion, or perhaps it's too late or a dumb idea. When I click on the "Prepare for v5" prompt in admin, I am presented with several areas that may need attention, and if I want to find out more about the changes, I can click a link to get to the Feedback Forum. So I click on the link, I come here, and I am having to wade through topics that have nothing to do with the areas of concern in preparing for v5. I wonder if Admins here, could create those topics in advance, and link those areas to that topic so we don't have many topics all over the place related to "Open Tagging" being replaced. When creating a multiple answer poll, the poll tallies the percentage of votes. I wish it would tally the percentage of voters instead. For example in the results below, 53 voters out of 69 have voted for the 2nd answer, I would like to see 76.81% (of voters), and not 22.94% (of votes):

When guests subscribe and create an invoice without entering an email address, then a huge number of PENDING invoices are created. In order to delete an invoice there is this warning created that says it is recommended to cancel then delete the invoice which requires two steps to delete. It would be nice to to have a choice to do both steps in one click. Also, there is no way to cancel/delete multiple pending guest invoices which would save a HUGE amount of time canceling/deleting these useless pending invoices with no email address or information since these guests simply spend the time to create a useless invoice that clogs the subscription invoices with hun…

I wish the Bulk Mail feature had a "send test mail" button to send an email to myself to check what it looks like before proceeding with the Bulk Mail. Meanwhile my workaround is to save the Bulk Mail with only the Admin selected and proceed.

Re: As per the title. Present situation: If the member fails to meet club criteria (at the time of application) and are rejected, they cannot apply to join again later. Further, if the club changes from closed to open type, the member cannot join the newly open-type club. It's only possible to add a new tag to the end of the list, but a closed list must be sorted alphabetically. To my knowledge it has been like this since the introduction of 4.X. In 3.X the list could be edited. Our taglist is 12 years old and we cannot add new tags because of this.

When marking a new report as complete, the system should automatically select the next open report. (Saving a click) Additionally, add the moderation action menu (Lock, Move, Pin) directly on the reported content. Thank you.

I'm currently working on a pretty large-scale archival project and am using Pages and custom wrappers/templates to pull it off. But a big requirement is to be able to have folders with the same name placed in different areas of the folder hierarchy, and bizarrely it seems as if I can't do that? For example, I have a 'games' folder here: /pages/special/v1/games/ And I have just tried to create another 'games' folder here: /pages/special/v2/games/ But the system won't let me. There's no reason for this error to appear unless I'm trying to make two 'games' folders in the same location, but I'm clearly not doing that. Please fix this in V5.

Hello! I have a few suggestions for features which would enhance the user experience. In the case where members can edit a post, I believe that reactions should be reset if the author edits the body of their original post for any reason. Currently, an author can make a post, receive reactions, then edit their words and the reactions remain. We had a situation recently where an author stated an uncontroversial opinion, received many "like" and "thanks" reactions only to have them edit their post to clarify they meant the opposite of what they originally wrote. The positive reactions remained for the now controversial opinion and no longer reflect how the community …
