I believe it's time to improve the look of the profile area especially user and group names.

Everything looks nice in the profile area but these two. I know that you guys do can better and can make an amazing improvement in here. 🙂 @Ehren

Do you have any specific suggestions on how this can be improved to display better?

My first thought was making the grey background behind the text transparent, however that may conflict with the cover photo some members may be using. I wouldn't mind the same sort of styling as the 'Follow member' and 'Message' boxes, but it will also look out of place perhaps?

@GaryI did it very fast, but perhaps something like this where everything can be readable. 

I also hated the way this looks and changed mine a long time ago, but it does involve changing a template. Many of my members have a profile photo and I wanted it out of the area where the photo goes.

 

They are both great suggestions, thanks for sharing. If any more come about, please don’t hesitate to post them. I like seeing and reading about new ideas to improve the software, even if it only seems to be a minor change or improvement.

I have received some feedback from our team regarding this. Profiles are an area that we have in our scope to be revisited at some point in the near future.

Until then, by all means continue making suggestions on what can be improved. Think about form, function and presentation or looks. The more ideas we get, the more understanding we have of what needs improvement and how to implement those changes.

@SeNioR- yes, I wish the IPS theme on mobile looks like that because whatever they have now it's ugly.
