Our staff only looks into this mask from time to time, and sometimes, we keep member accounts alive for further checks, before we delete them. So, if we could see, when the deletion request was initially entered in the system, that would be very helpful. Thanks. I’m not sure I store the request date. Will take a look tomorrow.
Adriano Faria Posted January 10, 2019 Author Posted January 10, 2019 @Cyboman, checked and it doesn’t store the request date. Is it really necessary? An old or new request, is a request that should be handled by allowed staff.
Cyboman Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 It isn't really necessary but would have been a good idea to make things easier. But don't bother, we're still alive without the date shown 😉
paulobrien Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 I get a page not found error when I press 'delete all accounts' to OK all requests, is this a known issue? It tries to go to https://www.mysite.com/requests/delete-all-accounts/&wasConfirmed=1 Thanks Actually, is delete all accounts delete ALL accounts or action all requests? I would like a way to action all requests at once. P

And yes, DELETE ALL ACCOUNTS will delete accounts flagged to be deleted: Clear your cache and run the support tool to clear the board cache.
Joel R Posted February 15, 2019 Posted February 15, 2019 Hi @Adriano Faria I wanted to let you know that I use Delete My Account app, and would appreciate an upgrade to 4.4 when it becomes officially available. Steph40 and DSystem 2

I tested this and it is compatible with IPS 4.4. Pleasse, for any other resource, make a test and let me know if it doesn't work.
Joel R Posted February 23, 2019 Posted February 23, 2019 Suggestion: When view reason, also view date / time user requested to cancel account. Sometimes I don't get ModCP section until one or two weeks, so I'd like to know when user requested in case I need to reach out.

Joel R Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 Currently running on Invision Community 4.4.2. It looks fine.
peter.schaefer Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 (edited) What happend to the settings page? Your pictures show much more options, have i missed something? By the way, it would be fine to have a delete option, which preserves the username. Edited April 8, 2019 by peter.schaefer
Adriano Faria Posted April 8, 2019 Author Posted April 8, 2019 You seem to be still using this as a plugin. It was converted to an application ages ago. You probably missed it. Make sure you follow the instructions from August/2017:

It always worked the second time around. So there is nothing for me to investigate anymore. I was just telling you in case you want to have a look at the problem and maybe avoid it for other customers. I did this also and it fixed things.
Joel R Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Hi @Adriano Faria If user has outstanding commerce transactions (like paid invoices or pending invoices), show something on list to moderator. It can be something as simple as an icon, but it would be helpful to know before deleting account.

The old way was a mess in mobile devices. Now it shows fine: By "commerce stuff" I mean a message.
Joel R Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Sounds good. Yeah I've always used the ModCP on desktop but I agree that moving everything to a menu will make it look cleaner on mobile.
peter.schaefer Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 You should be carefull with deleting once active customers. In Germany we have to archive ALL data of the customer for 10 years. If you don't -> your looking for trouble! A timer would be fine to solve some problem like that. The profile is locked, invisible to others and tagged. So after 10 years a cron job deletes it.Something like that maybe.

It’s up to you to moderate your community. If the user has some Commerce data, it will show up but again, up to you.

I will add a notice in the Account Settings saying that due to Commercial stuff and local laws, it’s not possible to delete the account.
