Yes, you can post issues in the support forums. We no longer need the tracker as it's easier to move directly from the forums to a support ticket or into GitHub for our devs to review.

There was a patch released (not sure on timeframe between your post and its release), but try giving that a go to see whether it resolves your issue.

All good, found it! Fixed it, thanks for letting me know!

I have setup a new Group Promotion. I started moving some members manually (because I was trying to help) but noticed that one account was moved by the software, so I stopped doing it manually. Since that time (a few hours ago) there has only been one other member promoted.

You mean promoted via their post count - yes? The members will be promoted when they next visit/login.

Unless I am hallucinating (which I cannot rule out) there is an app (I forget who provides it) which will do this as a background process. I will have a look tomorrow to see if I can track it down for you if no one beats me to it.

I believe this provides what you are trying to achieve. But I've not used it. So if you have any questions/doubts, you should contact IC Essentials ahead of your purchase.

It is a generic URL for product details/checkout, so I cannot link directly. There are two versions listed on that page, one for v4.x and one for v5.

This application will run the IPS Group Promotion feature for all accounts via a background task rather than having it called when a member logs in.

This way you can demote members who weren't online for a while! 

If this is to control requiring approval for new members, there's a much easier way than using the group promotion system.

Edit your default members group and on the 'content' tab, enable "require approval before content shows", then configure how long moderation should last for.

The two members accounts that were promoted, via the system, have not visited in 2 and one half years and 5 months, respectively.

Since I stopped manually moving yesterday, no other accounts have been promoted via the rule.

The bug tracker was removed as it was targeted more towards fixing bugs for the v5 release (I think Matt posted about this somewhere but I can't find it).

You can post issues in the relevant forums now. 👌

Btw forum has a powerful search content by author choice on the search bar... finds every single post on any user....

We have released a patch to address two issues:

  • SendGrid recently discontinued its free tier. If you're using this tier, you may start to see errors when emails fail to send.

  • Large topics may be missing some posts near the end.

You can apply this patch from your AdminCP on the support page. If you do not see any patches available, that means you already have the latest version.
