Invision Community 5.0.3 is now available via your Admin Control Panel

This release focuses on bugs reported since the release of 5.0.2 and features many UI improvements. You can see the full list of fixes in our release notes section.

What's next?

We expect 5.0.4 to follow within two to three weeks as we work in some larger fixes that will require more testing. We may release a beta release ahead of the full release to ensure that any bugs from those larger fixes are caught and fixed early.

If we see anything more pressing, we'll release a patch which can be applied via your Admin Control Panel.

As always, thank you for your testing and reports. It really does help us!

That's old data causing issues. I'll patch it, but in the meantime you can use this at: applications/core/setup/upg_5000057/upgrade.php

Once uploaded, run the upgrader again.

Patch for the upgrader issue on its way and will be available in about ten minutes. It won't affect everyone, mostly those upgrading and still have v4 data in their database from apps they've removed or uninstalled on v5.

Update completed successfully and my problem with the image widget has been resolved.

Thank you team

That and the downloads screenshot issues aged me more than they should.

When do you plan to introduce the new importers?

I upgraded my dev install from 5.0.0 to 5.0.3 absolutely fine. :)

I still have this error in the email settings at : ... admin/?app=core&module=settings&controller=email

1.JPG

I am using the SMTP method for sending emails - and that is working but I have no access to the email settings at all in cause I want to change something.

The reason for the error might be that the API key of send grid is still stored even that account is not used anymore.

If you can make sure your Client Area details are up to date (FTP/SSO), I can check this for you.

Checked it out in my Client Area - should be up to date. Last time I still have the username instead of the email as login data. Changed it 😊

Updated successfully 100% fine !

Thanks IPS Team ❤️

Updated with no issues. 👍🏼

Went straight to see if we can disable and/or reorder emoji groups in the toolbar .... not yet.

I think it's coming soon though.

Keep getting the dreaded "There are no applications available to upgrade" error:
