Invision Community 5.0.3 is now available via your Admin Control Panel

This release focuses on bugs reported since the release of 5.0.2 and features many UI improvements. You can see the full list of fixes in our release notes section.

What's next?

We expect 5.0.4 to follow within two to three weeks as we work in some larger fixes that will require more testing. We may release a beta release ahead of the full release to ensure that any bugs from those larger fixes are caught and fixed early.

If we see anything more pressing, we'll release a patch which can be applied via your Admin Control Panel.

As always, thank you for your testing and reports. It really does help us!

I still have this error in the email settings at : ... admin/?app=core&module=settings&controller=email

1.JPG

I am using the SMTP method for sending emails - and that is working but I have no access to the email settings at all in cause I want to change something.

The reason for the error might be that the API key of send grid is still stored even that account is not used anymore.

Just upgraded to 5.0.3 from 4.x.

I'm not sure why the Post Feed widget takes an image from a thread and puts that next to the post. Shouldn't it be the user's avatar?

This is the message I got from the user now :

I have a iPad 5th generation running 16.7.10. I have the latest version of Safari loaded. When I use the direct link the page starts to come up but then the screen goes black with the message " A problem repeatedly occurred on "https://www.hanspeterkruesi.com/". Sometimes after reloading it a dozen times it will stay up but once I go to another page the same thing will happen.

Still an issue in 5.0.4. Thanks.

This does not look to be an issue. If you are selecting "Featured" which is the default, then you would indeed see an image if there is one in the post. I believe what you are looking for is the rows view

Playing around with this, it seems there is a possible bug.

In that, if I overlay another block, I cannot edit the display of that block and it doesn't inherit the underlying block's display. It defaults to the Featured display.

If you are seeing bugs, please post in the bug tracker here, as this is an old release topic.
