As you know, @Ehren posted some instructions for changing this to a magnifying glass icon only. I find it a strange UI decision to instead have what is effectively an enormous button styled as a search field.

I think some of the graphics could be themed around the dark mode, rather than bright white. It takes some of the contrast, and makes it a little harder to take in at first glance. Some of the images are nicely themed in, but others not so much.

Ehren is doing a top job, as is everyone else behind Invision.

And this would make even more sense if the search icon was rationalized to just a magnifying glass.

Maybe you want to share how you created parts of your website as a set of tutorials in the near future? Not the whole thing of course, but in small chunks like " This is how we created the boxes incl. blue background on mouseover" etc. It would be a great inspiration for others to start investigating the possibilities IC5 has to offer.

New website looks great, lovely job guys. I do like the focus on the branded logos and the work you guys do with these big corporations, it definitely helps to realign expectations on the scale of business that Invision attracts with IC5 these days (instead of just looking like a hobbyist platform solution like the V4 site did).

Only thing missing is official in-depth technical/developer documentation for extending the platform... which I think has been teased to be released by the IPS team ever since Beta 1 of IC5 now? 😄

I can't promise detailed docs on the PHP framework, but there's room for improvement on a lot of other areas.

Question, did anything change with the login?

Whenever I switch device, going from computer to mobile, I need to login. Going from mobile to computer, I need to login again. Every time.

@ntxpla If i have to believe the frontpage of www.invisioncommunity.com it seems to suggest that Lego or Sony uses IC as software. (and others)
However googleing for those forums does not find any IC software, it does find other forumsoftware used by those company's ???
So i wonder if those company's on the frontpage are really using it?

I speak to LEGO every week, they have a community for their local user groups.

It's a badge for both Invision and for the site that the partnership between software and client. Though it's probably enterprise and some cloud-based sites (not being sarcastic or funny).

We have have many enterprise clients that we are partners with. This entails regular calls, project management, etc. We do not advertise them outside of the logos unless we request a case study (Gatorade). There are NDAs in place for most of them.

Some of them look ace, and really show the benefits/power of Invision 5x.
