  • Just a note to say that 5.0.8 has now been released. Just the one extra bug fix: Fixes an issue where guests could comment on blogs when the group setting was set to off.

  • You actually like autoplay? I always disable that in my browser settings first thing.

    Thanks for letting us know. I have corrected that issue.

Upgraded :-)

Upgraded without any issues, as per usual. Thanks Invision Community. 👌

Club Members have a styling issue after upgrading from 5.0.7 to 5.0.8

I have tried turning off the few third party addons I have installed, cleared board cache, no good.
Issue showing on both light and dark modes.

Added: inspoecting the source, shows those grey boxes as this:L

I've upgraded, but it has thrown up a pretty major error... I can't currently use my site, nor can my member and my Admin area is also unusable meaning I can currently do nothing to fix it! I've emailed support and heard nothing back. I'm stuck!

Has anyone had an issue like this before and know how to fix it?

I'm on the cloud plan.

I’m experiencing the same issue after upgrading from 5.0.7 to 5.0.8.
In my case, I don’t have any third-party addons installed, and the problem still occurs.

Thanks @Madhouseau and @zelgadis , this will be fixed for the next update.

In the mean time, you can add this to your Custom CSS area to fix it:

/* Fix stretched hr in Club member grid */.ipsGrid--clubs-members .ipsHr{
	max-height: 1px;
}

Ehren, this is happening in other areas, not only in club members page. I use hr in some apps and I can reproduce it too:

Is there a “global” fix?

Sorry, I edited my code shortly after posting it but you must have been faster than me and copied the code before it was updated. Using the new code will fix it everywhere 🤝

Issue resolved, thank you!

I've sent a support ticket in but no reply as yet. I upgraded from v4 to v5 and I have an issue. If someone could address it, it would be appreciated.

Thank you.

@Daniel F Please check the support ticket again.

Right, but Marc always used to be online at like 5am EDT. That is why I tried to do it early before my membership woke up. And, there is support that is around, I have been conversing with them.

Thank you.

Marc is away this week, so other members of the team are managing support and aren't in the same timezone as Marc. I can see that Daniel has replied to your ticket.

You sent the ticket in at 11am our time, and Daniel had replied by 11:41am. I don't think you need to tag and reply with "hello?" because we had not replied instantly. 😀

Lol. Apologies. I had just assumed that support was around. I had always knew Marc was around at the time I planned the upgrade.

My bad. Again, apologies.

Why have I only just noticed you’re the very helpful chap that makes the beautiful themes I’ve bought. Man of many talents!

My talents unfortunately don’t extend far beyond web design but I appreciate the compliment regardless! 😅

I just updated, but I'm only able to access my dev site which runs v5 via my mobile. I know dev sites aren't supported areas, but is anyone else seeing the sidebar show beneath the main widget area? When I view my site in desktop mode, they show below. I'll see if my son will let me check later when I'm back, I'm currently away.

There is no difference between you doing it yourself and us doing it. Submitting a ticket was only recommended as the individual was not aware and had questions.

I'm sadly not aware too.☹️ I have 'prepare for v5' notifications, fixed the painfully manual database swap from 'MyISAM' to 'InnoDB' and am since then patiently 👼 waiting for 'v5' to drop.

Looks like it "dropped"? So Q: Where do I find this upgrade from 4->5? 🫢

Hi @riko,

To get version 5, please go to your Client Area → Manage this purchase → Download Invision Community 5.

Before upgrading, please back up your database and existing Invision Community files. Normally you would not encounter any issues, but it's better safe than sorry. Follow the Manual Installation instructions on the help guide below to start the process.
