A possibility to collapse singe forums would be good. E.G. As a User you do not have access to some protected fourms, so the User could collapse that forum... but maybe still have the link to the forum? This would help if you have a lot of forums, so you don't have to scroll all the way down, or as I said, if u do not wish to see the certain forums...

I would love to have the ablity to create links like: [link]Download[/link] which in html might look like this: <a id="#postid_Download"></a> This is something I have missed when I write long posts with sections of information; FAQ, list, etc. Now ofcourse it is posible to make a new post for each section, but that breaks up the layout and if you would like to print this information outside of IPB a litle harder ( not dificult, but alitle more work..). Also if you have flooding controll user must wait before they can post the new section and others might therefore have posted and messed up the flow. I had planed to make a hack for this, but I tough…

Search ability for Advanced CSS

It would be handy to have a search capacity for Advanced CSS that works within it's own frame. I do use Firefox "find in this page" but can only highlight words within the frame ( which is nice ) compared to going straight to occurrences of them. The CSS file is getting bigger with each release and this would be a neat little time saver. Cheers

Hi.. I'm trying to add a 'hide' code to my forum, so that when a user wants to see a link they need to reply to the post in order to see it. Does anyone know how I can do this? Preferably a simple way too, I'm not that great codes and what not but any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If it is possible in your next release, that you could put back how many total post your forum got per day. When you click "Today's top ten posters". Then at the bottom it tells you how many posts you got per day, so we don't have to do the math. Like you had in the 1.0 series. Thanks. :thumbsup:

As you may have seen from me before I can come up with some ideas/features very easily, I have no idea why. ON TO THE SUGGESTIONS! I also find it strange that IPB fixed the 'full edit topic title' bug. Either a customer reported that to you guys, or your actually letting us non 'holy' humans do more things on this forum then you used to. (I am not flaming anyone, but we can hardly do like anything: blog, comment ON the blogs, create a gallery, have a display name, ETC/More only 'GROUP BY GROUP' features of 2.1/2.1.1. Hi Matt @All Something i miss in the 2.1 ACP is there is no Board Home, i have to open a new tap or new window just to get back to my Board Index. One thing i also liked in the 2.0.x is that you can be in the ACP an still moderere your forum, from the admin. So Matt can't you put a link in the ACP to Board Home, or maby so we can administere or board from ACP Thanks :thumbsup:

It would be better if you could specify which template file to load for your email templates .. As I have seen in another topic in Company Products and Services Feedback, I have decided to start this topic. When you vote for a poll, you should be able to see the option you chose in some manner. It should either be italicied, bolded (correct ending?), or underlined to show that this was the choice the user made. I'd recommend that the choice be put in bold, it would be most noticeable and understandable. Regards,

I dont like giving admin to just anyone but on my board I made a group and just dont have time to keep up with it. I make a group leader gave him admin cp and then gave him restrictions to where he can only edit peoples profiles, But all he would have to do is register a new account and then make that account a regular admin and then he would have access to everything my suggestion is to make more settings on the restrictions to where he can only edit people to be in certain member groups

Suggestion: bring back the Birthday Greeting Email (I'm sure it used to be in v1.3). Give it an option in the AdminCP so that you can choose what message you want to send. Also, an Anniversary Greeting whenever a new year passes since a Member joined. Both should have enable/disable options.

This may turn up to being a "feature request" rather than a bug report, but read on... :) I just did my own test... and registered at my board. I have my validation setup to User Email then Admin validation. I submitted my registration, and got a message saying a new user had registered, and to my other email address got the email to activate the account. Upon activating the account (user's-end) I see this message: This message is not exactly what's happening. First off, the Admin is only notified of you registering, not after validating the email address (and that is ONLY if you selected the option to be notified for every registration processed). I think that this would be a good idea because I look at IPS Forums and I see that the Gallery forum is led by Wilzor, as so is the project I presume. It would make those who dont want this to change pernamently satisfied as well as the ones who want it to Say Moderated By:.

This would be like a two-way RSS setup (where both sides must be negotiated to each other to work). External posts could show the boards logo or text to let readers know that it's an imported post into the topic, and clicking on the members name would open up their profile on the external forum. Each forum would have a [master/self/slave] setup. Master would be the root, slave would be an end forum, self would be an inbetween. In the long run, obviously after a couple of versions, the master could be in control over who gets to subscribe/merge posts in a specific forum. I'm not sure if this was already posted, but maybe there could be a small emoticon panel on the side for emoticon favorites? It's like bookmarks, but instead of links, it's emoticons. Then, if we had a favorite emoticon, we wouldn't have to keep clicking "Show All" everytime we want to use our favorite emoticons.

Small 'code' suggestion

I run a tutorial forum and we have quite a few coding tutorials, such as php/html. In most cases, the members need to select the text and paste it into a document of some sort, so I was thinking of maybe having a select all button for the code box. Then instead of highlighting/scrolling through the text, they could just press select all and copy it :) Not much of a suggestion, but I just thought of it, lol. :-"
