[2.1]Report Enhancements

I would like to see a report PM button on every PM. This would remove the need for PM logging, but would help to prove accusations against a user and could be used to inform a admin of the problem. I would also like to see somthing like there to be a list of reported topics visible to all moderators that moderate a forum. This should be shown in a global list, and all these reports and actions should be logged for the administrators to review. Permissions to view reports from every forum should be settable in the list of moderator permissions. This would help admins and moderators track annoying users.

Forum Multi-Moderation

This might seem like a bit of a strange one, but many I time I've come to a situation where I've wanted to delete , empty, or turn 'read only' quite a few forums. I'm proposing a forum multi-moderation in the 'manage forums' part of the ACP, like you can get in the forum view for closing topics. Feel free to tell me I'm spouting rubbish, I just thought this could be useful. :)

Manage Your Attachments

Hi, I currently have the v2.0.3 and have noticed when members are in their " My Controls" .....In the menu on the left hand side under " Options " they have " Manage your Attachments ". I have discovered that if members decide to tidy and delete any of the attachments... they in fact also get deleted from the messageboard and are left with a blank box. Perhaps you can have that feature only accesible to Admin team members,and not the standard members,or omit it altogether. Thanks :)

Admin notification e-mail that contains joiners e-mail details

When i pickup mail that tells me a new user has joined our forum, it would be nice to be told the e-mail address the user has joined from. We used to use invisionfree, and this feature was very useful as a "heads-up" when the forums are visited by troublesome users. Hotmail and Yahoo type accounts being used were given extra attention, or even put on post-mod until we were happy the users were genuine. Thank you, and apologies if its already on the request list (is there a definiate list somwhere?)

Spam Filter

I made a post at this forum i use. neowin.net. People come in every now and then, and spam the **** out of us. i think it is very very annoying, and sometimes moderators or admins are not avaliable. if there was a spam filter, disabling a user to post the same topic title more then once.. that would slow down, and prevent spammers from flooding the forum. i was wondering if this could be possible?

May have been mentioned before, may not have. I'll post them anyway. 1. Forum open and close times. I think this would compliment the current topic open and close time system. 2. Allow users to set their preferred font for the WYSIWYG editor. I hate having to change to Verdana everytime I post. :( That's it. o:)

I really would like the option to set a poll in wich my members can vote and, if they want to, change there vote. I have a lot of discussion on my board in wich my members try to convince others of there statement. It would be great if we could see in the poll if the balance is shifting.

Different Fields Per Category

Not sure if this is possible yet or not but i havn't seen the option yet. But it owuld be nice to be able to assign different custom fields to a forum or category level. Upon further investigation it seems you can't create custom forum fields, i would also like to see this added first.

rearrange Find/edit/suspend user

1. As you probley know if you go the Find/edit/suspend user section of the ACP and just dont' type any thing in you get the names, e-mails, and other info about all memembers on the board. It would be nice if possible to make it so you could rearrange (or organize) the members by what you want like e-mail, name, IP, group, join date, (/other info), all by A-Z or Z-A. If you could do this right now, how? and I DON'T mean by adding a mod. 2. And also what about being able to choose the size of the post screen (yes I know of the buttons, but that increases/decreases it a certain amount) I'm talking about being able to increase/decrease it as much or little as you want, li…

It would come in extremely handy to limit attachment viewing per user group. I don't want guests viewing (hotlinking) attachments by bypassing the images and going through the index.php?act=Attach method.

ACP Quick Info

In the main page of the Admin CP, there should be a few useful statistics. These should include: Today's posts: How many posts there have been today. Today's Registrations: How many members have registered today. Active members today: Says how many active members there have been today, when clicked on displays which members were online today. This would make keeping track of how well a forum is doing on a given day much easier :).

make ignore feature less "hidden"

as it is right now, to ignore someones posts you have to go into your control panel and manually enter their username. and managing multiple ignored users is kind of a pain imo. it would be great if you could choose to ignroe/un-ignore someone directly from the individual posts, or at the very least their info card.

Changing the URL Type

Hello ! I would like to know if it was (or would be :D ) possible to change the URL Type from index.php?showtopic=104&pid=1160&st=0&#entry1160 to 104-1160-0#id1160, or something like that, to give one OWN url to each post and topic. I ask that because in Webalizer for example, each link to my website from un Invision Board is mentionned as index.php. That's also a feature quite used on the web now, so... :) So, would it be, or is it possible ? (w00t)

the admin CP should be customizable for user group/category. So it could be possible to assign the function of create/remove/etc forum (inside this category) as an admin without giving global admin permissions for all the board.
