  1. Hi @tmcom ACP > Members > Members > Groups > (in each group) Social (tab) > Allow animated profile photos? You will need to set this for each Group. And the setting is NOT retroactive.
  2. I can search for new members via the search page. The URL for the search results page: mywebsite.com/search/?&type=core_members&joinedDate=day&group[11]=1 This works fine. But unlike content search results, I cannot use this URL as a link - these are only temporary search results; the link does not trigger a search. Is it possible to create a non-search link to a page listing members of particular usergroup and who joined within a particular time frame? Even better, is there a way to actually list the results within a Pages container? Thanks.

Hi @Chris027 Members can create their own streams: My Activity Streams > Create New Stream Select: Content Type (Topics); Read Status (Content I Haven't Read) There is also the ability to create new default streams in the ACP. Unfortunately, the options are more limited: https://your-website.com/admin/?app=core&module=discovery&controller=streams&do=form As far as I know, our members make little use of Activity Streams, but I can see that your suggestion makes sense for those communities which make more use of them. The search system suffers from a similar problem: search for a topic title and it returns all the individual posts within a topic.

  7. Hi. A member informs me that she keeps receiving this error when she logs in. There is no match in the logs for that error or her username, and I can find no mention of the error code here.

This has been going on for a few months at least.

Features: Import videos to Forums. Import videos to Pages. Import videos to Videobox. Supports Youtube I suggest that you check with the developer that the app does what you need, and still does what you need given the changes with YT before you pull the trigger.
  14. FWIIW 'Toggle Signatures' was also disabled (same panel in the same usergroup). I have an app which changes how Signatures operate. I did disable and re-enable the app yesterday. I just tried disabling and re-enabling the app again just now, but it did not affect the Toggle Signatures option. Not definitive of course. But I thought it worth mentioning.

  16. Hi. I expect the answer is 'no', but I thought it worth asking. I will soon take possession of a another domain with archived content, and wondered if there is a way it might be added to an existing Invision plan. It will consist only of static content, no database, CMS, or text editor required. Just static pages consisting of HTML, CSS, and, perhaps, a little JS. So long as there is access to the directory hierarchy, that's all I need. All that is surely possible, except for the second domain as part of an existing plan. I can pick up cheap plan elsewhere, so this is no great problem. I just thought it worth asking here first (not least because I find the hosting service here solid). Thanks.

  18. Hi Jam, Thank you so much for looking at this - that did indeed fix it. I had been looking at prefixes and tags permissions (different panel in permissions). So, although I was in permissions, I was only toggling the tags permission on a different panel. I am certain that I did not touch the access setting. I guess it was just a random glitch when saving my changes. Again, thank you. I would never have guessed that disabling 'can view site' would result in the account being banned. That's not intuitive to me. I would assumed that they would receive some other kind of error message.
  19. Hi Jim, They are listed as 'banned' in the membership list. And they receive a 'banned' notice when they attempt to login. But I'll check out the setting (not that I had changed it). Thanks.
  20. Is it only my community which is affected? There is no way for me to filter these accounts. But by sampling pages from the membership list in the ACP, there are thousands of accounts affected.
  21. By the way, when this is fixed, I will require a list of the accounts affected (banned or had content automatically deleted) so that I can email them individually with an apology. Please do not simply fix the problem without logging those affected and providing me with this list. Thanks.
  22. Looking at this a little more closely, the account (in the ACP) lists them as being banned. But, the 'Ban' option is still displayed - no option to 'adjust ban'. Further, when I filter for banned accounts in the ACP (or go to the list in the ModCP), these banned accounts appear in neither list.
  23. Today, several member accounts have been banned by the system. I have no idea why. About 12 hours ago, content from a new member was also deleted - I had already received an email about this. Now, within the past hour, several accounts have been banned (including a test account I was using). I have made no changes to the ban systems, and in any case, the settings are such than no account or content ever should be automatically banned or deleted. Additionally, how do I view recent bans? There appears to be no method for handling this. Further, how do I un-delete these accounts - I can find no setting for this.
  24. @Saurabh Jain If I understand you correctly, when you add your link for the youtube playlist and the first video is displayed, click the 'insert as link' text below the video. The will revert it to a link.
  25. I originally did the same. But Ehren's solution was/is much better (than my CSS hack at least).
