  1. You and I both! I love pizza!
  2. Upgraded, thanks team! I have only noticed the thumbnail in my store not displaying, as already reported by others. Products are displaying correctly though.
  3. All patched up over here.
  4. Always happy to help. I'm sure the team are assisting you as we speak. 😎
  5. Hi @Robert Angle, I assume you are on Classic (a self-hosted licence)? If so, the licence allows you to have one live installation and one test installation. You can also have an unlimited number of installations on 'localhost' domains so you can test locally without restriction. You can definitely use a test installation to give v5 a run before upgrading your live community. 👌
  6. Correct! Forgot to add that into my post, thanks @media.
  7. Hi @Cath Foster, If you are on Cloud, you can request the upgrade via the Client Area → Manage this purchase → Upgrade to Invision Community 5. If you are on Classic, you can simply download v5 via the Client Area → Manage this purchase → Download Invision Community 5.
  8. It has been mentioned again, with the same response. Courses will not be available on Classic (self-hosted).
  9. Amazing news and congratulations to all! This is an incredible milestone and I look forward to what Invision Community brings in the future! This truly is the best community software on the market and all the dedication of your team, Matt. It does not and should not go unnoticed by your community (even the more outspoken ones). I have been on the ride since the very early days and I intend to stick around for many more years to come.
  10. Amazing news and congratulations to all! This is an incredible milestone and I look forward to what Invision Community brings in the future! It has been a pleasure being a part of the alpha and beta process, however little my contributions and/or bug tracking skills were. It has enriched my skills and the tools the software provides out of the box are perfect for so many different applications. At the end of the day, this is the best community software on the market and all the dedication of your team, Matt. It does not and should not go unnoticed by your community (even the more outspoken ones). I have been on the ride since the very early days and I intend to stick around for many more years to come.
  11. Upgrade went through perfectly on my end.
  12. Topic Summaries are available on Creator Pro (currently $149/month), whereas Assign Topics and Topic Summaries would be available on Business (currently at $549/month).
  13. Upgraded. Liking the small yet noticeable changes in the AdminCP! 😉
  14. Hi @My Sharona, If you click your display picture/name, you will find the ‘Mark all content as read’ function there.
  15. There sure is, @beats23. The link is in Matt’s original post; 5.0.0 Beta 12 - Release Notes v5.
  16. I stumbled upon one error after clicking the return to AdminCP button once the upgrade finished. I have access to my community and AdminCP for the record, so I don’t know what went wrong. Still loving version 5!
  17. I do exactly what @Mike G. has done on my community, and it seems to work well too. Taking advantage of all features Invision Community offer will mitigate spam as much as possible, but in our day in age, it is impossible to eradicate it altogether. The Publisher plan of hCaptcha is completely free up to one million requests per month; I have been using it since setting it up on my community quite a few months ago. It doesn’t give you their full suite of features, but something is better than nothing. Real-time analytics, for instance, might be interesting and something nice to have but isn’t the be-all or end-all.
  18. One small step for Invision Community, one giant leap for communities! I am really looking forward to Monday! Well done Matt and team! This is a massive milestone after the amount of time and work that has gone into version 5. 🥳 I have upgraded my community without an issue. Insert token Ace Ventura GIF.
  19. AdminCP -> Customization -> Appearance -> Themes -> Click the blue '+ Create New' button This will create a new default theme, provided you don't edit anything in there apart from the theme's name. Make the newly created theme your default.
  20. Hi @Joey_M, I'm just grabbing some snippets from way back when I installed version 5 for the first time, bearing in mind that it was a fresh install and not an upgrade from a previous release. It may not work for your issue, but it's worth a shot nevertheless. I would suggest the following if you are upgrading from version 4.19 to version 5: Delete the file named 'Promoted.php' in your uploaded files (I did it via cPanel and it was located in applications/core/extensions/core/FrontNavigation/Promoted.php). Delete the 'Promote' item in the core_menu database (I did it via phpMyAdmin) and clear your cache in your AdminCP. My community worked after these steps. Read through the topic I have linked to though as there have been others experiencing the same issues but soon after managed to resolve the error/s.
