We have a bumper beta for you to test out. This is probably one of the biggest updates since v5.0 was released, so perhaps approach this one with a touch more caution. We didn't, we upgraded our site straight away but we also have ✨backups✨ and strongly suggest you do too.

Along with a large increase in REST/webhooks, we also have a whole bucket load of fixes and some new features which include:

• New: Quests

• Advert management improvements

• PWA improvements

• Pages rollback feature

Did you do the upgrade the site 2days ago? When the website was showing the updating page for about an hour, and then errors for a while afterwards?

I will test this on my dev site first to make sure...

We had another issue unique to this site which popped up mid-upgrade, but it wasn't directly linked to the release.

Ah ok. Understandable as this site seems to have more custom code on it then the normal forum software.

Reading release notes. What where the advertisements improvements? Where that only code improvements, or also placement or someting else?

I was hoping this update would fix the search issue, that when users click a search result item it goes to the wrong (last)post on the page, instead of going to the users comment on the page itself? Also seems like a very small fix as the url is wrong. Could this be prioritized in the next update?

Do we manual download 5.0.10 beta 1 or does it supose to come in on the Get Support page. As it it not showing there on my Dev site.

Yeah, its just as we have the internal links we create on the posts you create :) Taken a look for you, and it is indeed an open bug report at present

Quests is available on the Team package and up.

To piggyback off @Marc, it allows you to set default club features and names when a new club is created. Here's how you could set a template that automatically adds the Topics feature. In this example, it would be named "Forum".

Yes, this is available to all packages

I’ve just added another Quest - the one Mike showed off in his video where you rack up points through regular activity. This one’s really cool. It’s simple, it runs in the background, and it genuinely rewards people for being active in meaningful ways.

What I love most about this is how flexible it all is. The possibilities with Quests are endless. You can guide the direction of your community, encourage specific behaviors, and make it fun for people to get involved - all without it feeling forced.

Honestly, well done to the Invision team. Can’t say it enough - this is the most excited I’ve been about community features in years. 👏

@Matt A minor issue I noticed in the updated API output for the Forum class:

Unless a card image for the forum is specified, the default cardImage value is null rather than a string in \applications\forums\sources\Forum\Forum::2243:
