The Old Man Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 (edited) Hi @Nathan Explosion, I found this issue elsewhere in the AdminCP so I think this a bug in the actual ACP's responsive layout. I found it in Advanced Configuration > Friendly URLs which also uses a table layout and as you can see the content overflows the container and there is no way to access it or anything beyond it... Also in Stat Reports Downloads when switching to table view. Edited December 5, 2022 by The Old Man

If you believe you have found an IPS bug in their own implementation, please report it to them.

I appreciate that - but there is a reason mine exhibits the behaviour, and I will be resolving it going forward. I just want to disassociate the application from any report you may make about an invision bug, as it isn't a bug for me.
Nathan Explosion Posted December 6, 2022 Author Posted December 6, 2022 v1.8.1 is currently pending approval CHANGES The tracker has been modified to reduce the number of columns relating to checks/results, and consolidates information about an entry into a single 'Report' column. (see screenshot) The report column is truncated to 3 lines, by default, and the truncation and number of lines can be changed via the 'Tracker settings' button now available. Moved the 'Prune logs' option from main settings to the new 'Tracker settings'. The Old Man 1
jesuralem Posted December 9, 2022 Posted December 9, 2022 I am getting this the minute my site is on 4.7... can't stand the ton of spam I am getting from the contact us! Nathan Explosion and The Old Man 2
jesuralem Posted December 22, 2022 Posted December 22, 2022 Hi, Installed it yesterday, but i don't see how i can manually block one sender e-mail adress, did i miss something ?

Once you've done that then the application can be used to: Edited December 22, 2022 by Nathan Explosion
jesuralem Posted December 22, 2022 Posted December 22, 2022 thanks 🙂 OK, nice reuse of the non registrable list 🙂 Nathan Explosion 1
jesuralem Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Back on this matter, i don't know if this would be easy to implement but it would be nice to add buttons in the tracker to add the mail address and/or the IP adress to the ban list
Nathan Explosion Posted January 3, 2023 Author Posted January 3, 2023 For that to be considered and looked at, unfortunately you're going to need to provide a bit more than "it would be nice" I would need to understand the benefit to you, and what email addresses/IP addresses you are talking about (if they are in the tracker then the application has done its job as configured - why does adding that information to the ban filters add value?)
jesuralem Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Sorry if i wasn't clear about this request 🙂 I did enable the tracking of valid e-mails, what i would like basically is a "ban" button in the tracker that would add the e-mail adress to Invision non registrable adresses, so it wouldn't be able to use the contact us form. This way could block a spammer with a single clic instead of copying the adress, going to the ban settings, clicking on "add ban filter", switching the filter type, pasting the adress and clicking OK.. For instance(note that for instance i did ban manually tractorrmail@gmail.com) :
Nathan Explosion Posted January 4, 2023 Author Posted January 4, 2023 v2.0.0 is currently pending approval... NEW Added functionality in Tracker to allow quick addition of email and/or IP addresses to your site's ban setting. Available only if using the check against "Non-Registrable Email Addresses" the tracked entry has been tracked as a 'Valid' email the email and IP address are definitely not already banned (someone manually adding them since the email was tracked) Added functionality to allow deletion of entries in the Tracker, either individual entries, all entries or specific email or IP addresses The 'ban' button: Confirmation of what to ban: Tada!! jesuralem and Chris027 2
jesuralem Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 You rock ! So quick to add the feature ! Thanks a lot!

CHANGES Language strings relating to the privacy policy have been updated to reflect the previous application name change The Old Man and Chris027 2
The Old Man Posted January 20, 2023 Posted January 20, 2023 Great job Nathan, thanks for the updates. Would be great to be able to contribute by reporting these numpties in some way to the various block lists, I know it’s not allowed to do via IPS Spam directly.
Chris027 Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 Perhaps I don't understand how this works completely. I just received a message through the Contact Us form that originated from the IP address 5.62.59.1. This address is listed in Stop Forum Spam 80 times. With these settings, shouldn't this have been clocked?

Thank you! This app has saved me so many headaches it's amazing.

The Old Man Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 Always nice to see this app improve. Maybe a search facility would be handy in the tracker log. Also a manual report button for repeat offenders next to an entry if no automated reporting on the cards, but I wouldn’t want it to get bloated. On v2.1.0, in the tracker page, it looks like the sort by name column doesn’t work correctly. Maybe a bug or two: Sort by name opposite way, after loader icon disappears, list is in same order: I also have about 28 pages and I noticed when I sorted by IP, only the first 5 pages have an ip address included. 🙂
