Pre-sale question.

Does this plugin allow forum Admins to select particular user (using ACP or Public profiles) to see all the content (users, topics, forums) that selected user follows and then make some corrections? If so, may I ask for a screenshot?

No. You can login as the user and go to Manage Followed Content to get that.

I'm not sure I understand. Is "login as a different user" one of the features of this plugin?

No. Go to any member profile in ACP and click in the ACCOUNT ACTIONS button then you'll see:

OK, Thanks for the explanation, and sorry for the problem.

I haven't noticed this option before, because Wordpres SSO plugin I'm using hid it and it is not present in the ACP. In case of emergency I will try to disable this plugin for a moment (risking that SSO for someone won't work) just to see someone's followed content, but anyways it would be nice to see followed content of each particular user directly in ACP, without the need to log in as another user.

Is there any way (sort of the opposite of the prune followers setting in ACP) to run something that forces members to follow topics they have created or posted in (if they aren't already following), via a time frame like the last 365 days? Bulk one time run for all forum topics as an a example.

1. Yes, members can unfollow at anytime.

2. No. There is another plugin for new members:

They were made in different time, that's why they're two. I want to merge them and sell only one. Purchasers of any of them will be added to the new plugin; no ETA though.

Hello, have you merged the two or do I have to buy both plugins?

Hi Adriano,

Just purchased and noticed I don't have the button to "Remove Followed Content" when viewing a member like it is in one of your screenshots, is this a bug, config or user error? 😉

PS. I'm using latest release 4.7.7.

It appears on my 4.7.7, at least on mobile devices:

I’ll reply back tomorrow after test it using a PC.

Just checked on my mobile, still the same with different members too.

Installed it also on my test forum which is 4.7.8 beta 1 and I can see the button.  How strange is that!  Ah well, I can wait for the next release to see if it fixes it on my live site.

Thanks for checking.

Edit, cleared the cache and I can now see the button 😃

User error then 😁

Hi Adriano

How can I find out the member names in these situations?

The first screenshot has an anonymous member and the second screenshot is a long list (has scroll bar) where the box only displays so many records.

Anonymous is anonymous. This plugin doesn’t cover anonymous follow.

But answering your question, via database table: core_follow.

Yeah, but not end user friendly.  It just means they will have to contact me 😞

Maybe you will hit on an idea for the next version.

I will add a couple of new options:

  1. Delete anonymous followers
  2. Delete all followers (like it is in the Core)

👍

That's a nice option but would I end up deleting some members that I shouldn't.  A way of viewing the records from the core_follow table for that object would be great for the Admins.

That’s not the goal of this resource.

If an option to remove followers is ok to you, I’ll add. Anything else, no.

Yes, but if there are a number of anonymous followers, we don't know who is following and if they should be deleted.  Its same when there is long list of followers, you cant see them all.

I'm not sure what would be a good solution to view them, maybe a good idea will come to you for next version.

Oh, that looks good.  Do you want someone to try it out before releasing? 😉
