- 5.0.12 Released
Updated without an issue.- IOS26
FWIW, I have been recommended to delay upgrading to iOS 26 until 16 October 2025 by my employer due to reported compatibility issues.- 5.0.11 Released!
I quoted this post, and the cursor was automatically placed underneath the quote on Invision Community. Is this isolated to your own community or are you experiencing it on numerous communities?- 5.0.11 Released!
No issues and straight-forward as usual. 😎- Email advertising and other improvements
You are right! We'll have to wait for someone from the team to confirm what is at play here and whether this is intentional. 👌- How do I change a member's last name on ACP?
If you're an administrator, I am confused as to why no editing functions are available for you on that page. This is what I see on the page I linked to in my AdminCP. 🤔- How do I change a member's last name on ACP?
Hi @michimachi, This can easily be done via the AdminCP → Members → find the member you'd like to edit → Edit Display Name (icon is next to their display name) or scroll down and click Edit next to Profile Data (if their surname is within their personal information on their profile. Hopefully this helps.- Email advertising and other improvements
Hi @Chris027, These are shown when you create a new advertisement, or editing an existing one. Go to your AdminCP → System → Site Promotion → Advertisements → Create New → scroll a bit and you'll see an area to select which groups this ad will be shown to. I think this may be what you're looking for... 🤔- Update to V5
- Invision Community 5: The all-new editor
Hi @sobrenome, Marc said it best on another topic.- Invision Community 5.0.10 Released
That's the one! Thanks, @media. 😎 I just noticed all I had to do was scroll up...- Invision Community 5.0.10 Released
Hi @sobrenome, The bug tracker was removed as it was targeted more towards fixing bugs for the v5 release (I think Matt posted about this somewhere but I can't find it). You can post issues in the relevant forums now. 👌- Invision Community 5.0.10 Released
There's another one available in case you've missed it. 😉- Self-Hosted or Step Child? 5.0.10
I was just addressing your comment, "No where is it noted this feature is a cloud only feature." There is no deception on Invision Community's side. They do specify what plan any new and existing feature/s announced on blog posts and topics are available on. I also don't think any of us can quantify the amount of customers Invision Community has, and more specifically what plans they use. My point is that only a small percentage of their customers use this forum for support or discussion. Hypothetically (and purely pulling numbers to make a point), if 25% of their customers engage on this forum and 5% of those customers express anger and frustration that a feature is not available for them, is that grounds to change their entire business model to support the minority of their clientele? If this is as simple as "Invision Community, please differentiate between the Classic and Cloud plans on the pricing page to make it clear for customers to know the difference and what features are available in each", then by all means suggest that as feedback. I don't quite understand the perspective that some people have when it comes to the Classic versus Cloud debate which is continually addressed by the team. Yes they are. On the pricing page. Quests is listed under the Team plan, so it's a yes for your second question too. Let's say you go for the Creator Pro plan. You will receive everything in the Creator plan, plus the extras listed on the Creator Pro plan. If you go for the Team plan, you'll receive all the features from the Creator and Creator Pro plan, plus those listed on the Team plan. And so on... Invision Community is a business, not a charity; an organisation that provides goods and services to the community in exchange for money, with the goal of becoming profitable. It has nothing to do with emotion or being punished, rather a business decision to continue being profitable.- Invision Community 5.0.10 Released
Hi @CJK, There was a patch released (not sure on timeframe between your post and its release), but try giving that a go to see whether it resolves your issue.- Self-Hosted or Step Child? 5.0.10
Hi @k1ngzo, I'm not throwing any shade to your opinion/s or feedback, but it does specify that it is a Cloud plan-only feature on both the blog post and topic (check the last line of each).- Invision Community 5.0.10 Released
There is a topic that has been created to discuss features to be included on the Classic plan as feedback below.- Invision Community 5.0.10 Released
Upgraded. No issues, as usual.- Invision Community 5: The all-new editor
This hurts my brain so much.- Invision Community 5.0.10 Released

I'm not sure if I'm out of line or completely accurate in saying this, but for any true status updates and information regarding the Cloud environment with Invision Community, I wouldn't base it off this specific site, but rather the Invision Community status page. Invision Community | Uptime.com As Matt mentioned, the Invision Community team (or just Matt 😆) use this site to test betas, updates and other functionality improvements before they are introduced to customers. It allows them to perform tests on a production environment to iron out bugs and work out fixes as there is only so much that can be done on an internal environment. A lot of people use Invision Community for many different things, using the software in different ways to cater to their own audiences. What better way to find issues than using their own community, and indirectly we're all helping by finding and reporting them? It's not uncommon practice in this industry and I think works very well, regardless of the small periods of downtime. I'm obviously not pointing fingers at any one in particular and I don't mean to be harsh or nasty, but sometimes exercising a little more patience despite the frustration instead of jumping the gun and freaking out with a "this doesn't work" or "IC is down, again" doesn't really help anyone or anything. If you encounter downtime or an issue, you can either wait for an explanation from the team or be concise when writing a topic ensuring to provide as much relevant detail as possible (and obviously seeing if the problem has been reported before, where you could simply post your own experience in the same topic). On that note, remember not everything is an easy fix. What seems simple to you and me may be a completely different story for a developer. At the end of the day, we are using premium forum software with premium features and an all star team. We are very lucky Invision Community is where it is today, and that's all to do with the team and every single one of us using this software.- Invision Community 5.0.10 Released
Hi @Paras, I'm going to quote Matt's post from another topic. Hope this relieve any concerns you have about being self-hosted. - 5.0.12 Released
