Always appreciate the effort that goes into releasing the updates. Fingers crossed a future version will include these.

The new menu effect does make a huge difference when using mobiles. However, have either of you tried changing themes?

This happens on every site since the release of the menus, but I am using @Cedric V's Invisionite site as an example because it lists multiple themes.

Before, it used to pop into view, but now it opens up beneath and doesn't look right at all.

Some of the menus could adjust to fit better, too.

Such as the forum actions menu.

@Matt - IPS Tickets to private topics please? One of the biggest blocker for me to update site besides some addons - awaiting 3rd party dev's to release new version for 5.x.

What browser are you using? I tested these menus quite often during development in Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox - and they all continue to work correctly for me (they pop-up above the button and stay within the viewport).

I wasn't able to see the Theme selector on Cedric's site, but I've attached a screenshot of mine, with the theme names changed for privacy reasons.

Strange.. There's no code within the dropdown component which would only cause them to fail on new posts - so I imagine there's a different issue at play here. Feel free to send through URL examples via PM and I can take a closer look.

I don't believe resolution would have any impact, no. I've been testing this further and still can't reproduce it but I'll send you a PM to discuss it further so we don't clutter this topic too much 🤝

I tested it just now, but it doesn’t seem to be working. Do I need to do something specific to make it update and override the previous version? Is the old version cached somewhere?

I saved a new email template and tested it by creating a new sign-up, but I’m still receiving the old default email.

Have you customised the existing email template?

Go to AdminCP > Customisation > Emails > search for Registration completed confirmation

If it has been customised, there will be a revert button next to the edit icon, click that.

Anyone have issues with their lightbox not working properly? So we automatically resize the images to 300x300 and when a user clicks on it, its displaying the thumbnail instead of the full size image. It was working fine before the upgrade.

I did some changes to

static/js/global/root_front.js:279

and its working now, but was just curious is it only affected us.

We havent had a release since, so wouldnt see it quite yet. I would expect it to be in the next release though
