Joel R Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 It's strange because I initially upload and installed Topic Thumbnail plugin and hook on 11/28, and it was working fine. Then a couple of days later the homepage broke (which is where I added the Topic Thumbnail block. It works now. Another suggestion: Default topic thumbnail per category / forum in addition to a global thumbnail. The reason why is that I have some boards dedicated to news and discussion, another for announcements and new hire introductions, etc. and I'd like to create more distinction between those boards in the Recent Posts block.
onlyME Posted December 6, 2015 Author Posted December 6, 2015 I think the problem is due to the badly cache I will think about your idea. Joel R 1
Jesse Rapczak Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 (edited) So my thumbnails are using the original large versions, can't you use small file size thumbnail to display? It's clogging up my load times using the original images. Edited December 9, 2015 by Jesse Rapczak

frigorifero Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Hi, I'm using Topic Thumbnail for IPS4.x on IPBoard 4.0, but for now I only get thumbnails not aligned to topic's title: Any idea how to fix it?

I've just a question, on your demo website http://ipsviet.com/forum/198-paid-resources/ you have no dots or stars on the left of the thumbnails, you just removed them or is a plugin's behavior?

Joel R Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Perhaps a stupid question, but when I upgrade: I overwrite the existing files with new files Delete old hook and add new hook??
onlyME Posted January 7, 2016 Author Posted January 7, 2016 5 minutes ago, Joel R said: Perhaps a stupid question, but when I upgrade: I overwrite the existing files with new files Delete old hook and add new hook?? 1. Upload overwrite existing file. 2. Go to Admin CP > System > Plugins and find the plugin that you want to upgrade, click the "Upload new version" button (next to the edit button), browse for the supplied xml file. Simply click "Install" and wait for the upgrader to complete.

Joel R Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Is this compatible with v4.1.6.1? I get a server connection error whenever I try to reenable this plugin!

Daddy Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 It seems this plugin REALLY loves to thumbnail emoticons. Any way to prevent this?

Easy said than done. I have thousands of threads! Couldn't you add a blacklist for thumbnails from specific directories?

Thanks for your fast response. This is a great well-rounded plugin that I will use oh so much. How are thumbnail urls stored? Maybe I can query results with thumbnails and modify all of them with the default thumbnail instead.
