Claude and Gemini tell me they are blocked from accessing pages on my site. ChatGPT is more hit-and-miss. It sometimes reads it, sometimes doesn't.

I know I am probably in the minority here, but I would like to see us have a setting to actally ENABLE specific AI bots to our sites if we wish. There's a few reasons, but mostly that AI answers are here to stay now, and with the decline of SEO results we need some visiblity in AI results. We're basically at the position SEO was in very early on and there was lots of 'Google is stealing our web traffic' type alarmist rhetoric back then, with lots of people blocking search engine crawlers from their sites. But those who got on board early with allowing crawlers benefited the most and quickest early on. SEO is slowly dying, forum traffic in general is reducing... and we're actively blocking the replacement (as much as it isn't in a completely ideal place yet). Plus, for us as a ~25 year old community with millions of posts and topics, lots of it used for historical research and cited in peer reviewed studies, etc, I feel that for communities like ours it is important to be an authoritative voice and included in those conversations. We're not in it only for the money (yes, of course that's nice), but I feel more of a custodian of a quarter century of social history (as well as the historical discussions well beyond our operating period) that should be referenced. In fact, it is an operational risk for a site like mine to not be referenced in future outputs, and without being an authoritative voice in future we may not be able to operate to our full potential in a few years. Again, I appreciate this may not be the majority view(!), but I do think we should be allowed the ability to enable it for our specific sites should we choose.

As an update: I believe you can do this through Apple for Business, but only for Apple devices/emails. You still need the SPF/DKIM/DMARC set up - but that seems to be it? The URL to set up Apple for Business: https://business.apple.com/ Is there a way for Cloud customers to do this, I wonder?

If on cloud I wanted a subdomain to point to somewhere else (i.e. a Shopify instance or external blog), what's the best way of doing this?

This seems to be missing from Email Advertisements (it's there for Website Advertisements, but not Email ones).

To add - I'm a cloud customer and I still don't get quests. However, I understand there are different packages available and my package doesn't include them. That's the way of packages nowadays. Do I wish I had quests? Yes. Will I upgrade for them? No - I can't justify the cost uplift for that feature. Do I begrudge not having them? No, I simply understand they aren't part of my chosen package. I do agree that features that are unavailable shouldn't be on the upgrade list for you in the upgrade notes (or should be clearly highlighted which packages they are for on there).

Here's a screenshot - it isn't right at the top of the right column, but close: Re: your default setting comment - I'd be careful of setting it to automatically opt in to bulk mail as it may be unlawful to do so in some territories. You may wish to check the relevant laws in the areas you serve.

In V5 there is a Newsletter Signup block in the page editor. You could add that to the page somewhere (I have it at the top of my right column). It only shows to those who aren't opted in to bulk mail, so acts as a prompt only for those who aren't opted in. (There is similar in V4 I seem to remember, but I can't recall exactly now my head is totally into V5!).

Just wanted to check the expected behaviour here - I had a number of past featured events still showing in the featured events carousel. Should this be the case, or should they automatically hide beyond the event's ending date (which is the behaviour I assumed would be correct)?

I assume @Marc was replying to the first part of this post, as I can't see an option for the second part. I would second the ability to place ads between forum category rows on the forum home page (similar to the existing options of placing between topic rows or post rows).

Would also like to say that I love the update videos - they are informative, not too long and very well produced. Really appreciate the extra effort going into making those for us. Thank you. 👍

Thanks for the contributions. The CSS addition is a nice touch. I do still think it would be great to alter this in the base theme software though, especially if a toggle could be used for an admin to choose their preference.

I've seen this mentioned a couple of times in other places, but don't think it has ever been officially posted as feedback(?) Available subscriptions are in set columns on the Subcriptions page, which forms a lot of white-space. If you have only one or two subscriptions, a lot of real eastate is blank and looks unbalanced: Perhaps an option is to allow for rows instead of columns? Or to fit to the space (i.e. 2 subscriptions fit 50% each of the table space, rather than 25% each and leaving the other 50% blank)? Maybe a toggle for administrators to set their preferred option? My example: I have some clubs, one person was acting poorly in one club so got removed from it. However, they are now going through all posts in the club and 'laugh' reacting to everything, which is winding up the members of that club. (If someone is removed from a club and can't post in it, surely they shouldn't be able to react in there? Or maybe a 'block user from group' setting would help here, where someone is blocked from interacting with - or perhaps even seeing - the group at all?).
