Are you counting users who are only on Classic V5, or also those using V4? Because there are still quite a lot of forums running on V4.

I don’t think that’s true when it comes to the number of users choosing cloud vs self-hosted - unless you’re referring to revenue from cloud compared to self-hosted. Let me clarify - what I mean is that, in my humble opinion, the majority of users still prefer self-hosted solutions over cloud. You can clearly see this reflected in the discussions on the forum.

The latest supported PHP version is 8.3, not 8.4.

Made more progress removing old unused JavaScript libraries, templates and controllers, helping to reduce the amount of JavaScript we use when loading a page. Watch this space for more in future. @media My forum after the update: 93 performance points on mobile and 96 on desktop. UI/UX changes and code optimization are key priorities for me. After the update, the forum noticeably sped up, which is great to see.

It went smoothly without any problems.

Hi, I would like to point out in advance that I am starting this topic to hear the official position of IPS, not to make fun of etc. You constantly negate external infrastructures in favor of your cloud. And how will you explain your TOTAL DOWNTIME 12h 42m in the last 7 days? I would like to add that my dedicated server has had 100% UPTIME for a year. But if I was paying that much money for a cloud and seeing a 500 error for 8 hours, I would have given up on the service pretty quickly. Now let's imagine that during downtime some big business forum has important Live Topics?

Is it a bazaar, a market that you want to negotiate prices? - sorry but it is a subjective point of view.

Only these cloud functions do not encourage me, I do not need them in my forum. These features are more aimed at business, no hobby forums.

It's not just about that. The new features are simply to encourage you to use the cloud.

Brand new features are mostly only cloud. Most of the new features that are in the cloud are of no interest to me because they are not needed in my forum.

Selfhosted lives its own life.
