  1. @opentype's SuperGrid let you create a very nice blog in literally 5 minutes. It is how I started 🙂
  2. Changing to jpg ensures that it works in all areas except Linkedin. Might be a cache.... Nope. Linkedin does not work. But, it's just me then?
  3. Check the default theme, it's the android icons 😉 Happy to fix it if you know why they don't play nice with AWS 🙂
  4. Try sharing this on linkedin for example: https://jimiwikman.se/articles/interesting/atlassian/price-increase-but-why-the-obfuscation-atlassian-r228/ Is it because I use a webp perhaps....
  5. Not sure when this happened, but I just realized that when someone share a page now the system pick the first image in the post rather than the header image? I have several links that even show the reaction since that is the first image 🙂 Is that just me, or have others this as well?
  6. This is why you use Pages instead. It will allow you to build things just the way you want (without having to curse over the loop).
  7. I deny everything 😉 (and yes, of course!)
  8. Tease 😉 I look forward to see it released!
  9. Forgot about this one 🙂 You don't even need JS to get accordions 😎 https://www.w3schools.com/TAGS/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml5_details
  10. If you just want a few FAQ quick and dirty, then this is possible by creating multiple blocks. It's nothing fancy, but it works 🙂 https://jimiwikman.se/faq/ The code for it can be found here: https://codepen.io/jimiwikman/pen/GREqGgw
  11. Is this a block design you need or a database one?
  12. I think this illustrates the difference between "User Group" and "Permission Group". It may not be a bad idea to separate the two since their usage are quite different: User group symbolize affiliation Permission Group symbolize rights (and responsibilities) Until then @sofos, maybe a custom field would suffice unless you want to manage many user groups with the same permissions?
  13. This (and the ability to add labels) is why this would be an amazing addition to the existing RSS import implementation 🙂 So if you update it, just take my money! 🙂
  14. I would go for a new host. Based on the responses you post here, I am with Matt on this that your host is probably overselling or have a poorly configured resource limiter. I suggest you go to a reputable community to get more information about your current host and to search for a new one if you decide to. While this community is still not on the right software, it is the largest one out there: https://www.webhostingtalk.com/ If you have a huge site and need a VPN or dedicated solution, toss me a message and I can send you a contact I used when I was hosting. He has good prices and good reputation.
  15. It depends on the theme designer 🙂 I tend to do mockups just for reference before I code, but that is about it 🙂 I don't do commercial skis though, just for personal use 🙂
  16. Because the standard implementation does not allow you to map fields, which I feel is crucial for this to work with databases 🙂
  17. You have some information about that in the Help Guides. It's a 12 column grid and you also have documentation on columns so you can use the IPS standards for that as well. Not sure if there is a Figma file somewhere with the IPS design, but it would be handy for sure!
  18. Any chance this can be updated @Fosters? It is just what I need 😉
  19. It looks like a page made up with blocks that are defined with either a tag or custom field. The category for example is just tiles with the first tile being different: https://www.bbc.com/news/world Below you have your blocks again. This is something you can build on your own, if you feel comfortable doing that. In the marketplace, you can find several blocks and templates for Pages that you can use as a starting point. Some examples:
  20. Two things I really would like to see are: Pagination for database relations. As I plan to map stories to companies and articles, there will be a lot of them. Not having a pagination will make this a bit....messy. So please add 🙂 Map RSS fields to custom fields. Importing RSS into a Pages database could benefit greatly from allowing me to map the available fields in the RSS to custom fields. Right now I have to manually update all entries to map image and url, which is a tad bit annoying. That is all. 🙂
  21. They are language strings, so you can adjust them as you see fit. It makes sense though, so you know what is happening, especially if you also show the ratings.
  22. Just to check, is this because it interferes with the function somehow? Just so I don't spend time trying to figure out how to get it working in vain 😉
