IOS26

Heads up on a couple of things.

Tapping the top of the screen in the PWA no longer takes you to the top of the screen.

The cursor in the editor randomly starts in the middle of the box.

Also the bottom menu bar can stick to the keyboard.

These might be entirely iOS issues and nothing your end. Just wanted to make you aware.

iOS26 is awful by the way. Don’t update yet if you haven’t!

I actually love iOS26. Ha.. but can also confirm these issues.

Added to our bug tracker. We have some of those but not others

Thanks for looking in to this!

I like iOS 26 although I feel some parts are more design over function. iOS 26 makes me think of iOS 7 when Jony Ive made it look more beautiful but a bit less functional.

Thanks. I’ve unfortunately come across a few Safari bugs in iOS 26 today. I’ll do my best to fix these, but some are caused by the rendering engine in Safari. Hopefully Apple will address these in the next iOS update.

Seems there are a few issues across the board. Visiting other sites that have the member nav bar that sits at the bottom usually ends up in the middle of the screen. Unsure if this is a iOS issue or a iOS Firefox issue.

Doesn't happen always. If you close the app and reopen it, chances are it's not happening again.

It’s a known iOS 26 bug. Fixed/sticky elements become misaligned once the keyboard has been opened and dismissed.

Unfortunately this is a bug within the operating system and isn’t something web developers can fix, so it’s up to Apple to solve that one. Fingers crossed it’s fixed for the next update!

Not sure if widespread, I can’t stay logged in to the PWA and website at the same time.

Signing into one automatically logs me out the other, yet I would still get push notifications through the PWA whilst it’s showing me as being signed out.

I've had that happen prior iOS 26. It only happens to my own website. On Invision or any other forum, I don't have that behavior.

FWIW, I have been recommended to delay upgrading to iOS 26 until 16 October 2025 by my employer due to reported compatibility issues.

Ok, simple fix for this @Cedric V

Remove the home screen app icon

In Safari settings, remove website data for your site.

Go back to your site, login, add to home screen and yeah, that appears to have fixed it.
