Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted 22 hours ago22 hr When I upgrade to ips5 how will it work if I’ve got an ips4 app that I can’t uninstall due to data I want to keep for it I plan to have it made compatible with ips5 so I will be able to upgrade the app but it will still be an ips4 app when I do the forum upgrade. Will I still be able to upgrade to ips4 with this app / would it need to be disabled
22 hours ago22 hr The application will cease to function but you will still be able to upgrade. Many applications will need to go this route as you can’t install version 5 files prior to being on version 5 so we have to allow for data to persist while disabling the version 4 application files.
