So....how do I do it since there doesn't seem to be an automated upgrade process from the AdminCP.

Download it from client area and do the upgrade old school style.

Go to your Client Area and download the file (after you click the 'Download IPS Community Suite' button you will see there are also instructions on how to upgrade there)

Make sure that all files were successfully replaced by the new ones. I also had some issues with this in the past.

awesome....so far so good...uploaded all the files via FTP over the old ones and no issues so far..thanks @jair101, @steve00 and @Sabiza

I've been waiting for the update to appear in my adminCP... is it still in Beta?  Or is it relatively safe to upgrade?

Safe to upgrade as it is available for download in Client Area, no more Beta's
