You could always move to cloud and have proper guest page caching and a very fast CDN which will help. 😇

5.0.7 Released
Nothing significant changed, I've been through the PRs that were committed. I find running Pagespeed on different days gets different results.

I'll review the changes but nothing springs to mind.

5.0.7 Released
What was the previous version you had used? The code Matt has found was from way back in February. Oh and, Beta 4 is out around now. This has just one fix for the forum listing's last topic/author info for when you're using the classic table view. I wasn't brave enough to roll it right into final, so we'll do the final release tomorrow if nothing explodes.

5.0.7 Released
Important update! There's something funky going on with the permission extension system. We think we have a fix, but in the mean time I've reverted those changes and pushed a new release out. If you're using Beta 1, please update to Beta 2.1 (so named because I was about to release it when we started investigating the permission issue!) I'd expect the permission system changes will be restored tomorrow. Thanks for your patience!

Nothing was changed in that area as far as I know. It looks like Windows is complaining about the temp file.

5.0.7 Released
Fire up your upgraders, because 5.0.7 Beta 1 is on its way. We've got a fresh new beta lined up for you today. The full list of fixes is in the release notes. Of special note is the updated permission extension which allows third parties to really break things, so we hope they are careful and that you are careful about what you install as it allows apps to override the default permission system within Invision Community. 🫠 Enjoy and let me know how you get on!

I disabled "Chatbox FREE" and "Tutorials" apps and now your site works. You'll need to get those upgraded for 5.0.6 compatibility.- Invision Community 5.0.6 Released
I just edited my message, but deleting that file mentioned above should fix it.- Invision Community 5.0.6 Released
We think it's because a rouge applications/core/data/editor.xml file made its way in, which was removed in beta 3, but it won't remove it on self-hosted installs. If you delete that file, the button should vanish.- Invision Community 5.0.6 Released
On your site? If you update your details in your client area, I can take a look. I'm checking out your site shortly.- Invision Community 5.0.6 Released
Where? It might be worth manually emptying browser caches.- Invision Community 5.0.6 Released
Beta 3 Released! Some of the eagle eyed among you, and also those with the correct prescriptive lenses would have noticed a secret message appear on your editor in Beta 2. To be clear, this was not a subliminal message to tank the stock market, that's been handled elsewhere. This was just a test plugin that snuck into the release. Beta 3 just removes that test plugin to un-confuse you and your members. You will have to manually delete applications/core/data/editor.xml from your install after upgrading.- Invision Community 5.0.6 Released
That's impressive. 😁- Invision Community 5: The all-new editor
It's just not possible due to how the editor sees everything as nodes. The only way around it would be to effectively launch a text box and use that, but it would mean you would have to use a text box for future edits forever because the moment you turn load that content in the normal editor, it would remove everything it didn't have a node for breaking the content. That's not a great experience imo.- Invision Community 5.0.6 Released
If you can make sure ACP/FTP is up to date in your client area, I can take a look. Your browser console might hold some information too, so it's worth looking there. - Invision Community 5.0.6 Released
