  1. I have take me to last comment turned on, if I use my site in Safari on all devices it works fine, as intended, take me to the last unread post. However in the PWA it can be hit and miss, sometimes takes me to the unread post marker, other times not. No specific topic I can link to the issue on, it’s very random and kinda frustrating so pushing me away from using the PWA.
  2. Having exclusively used the PWA on iPhone now for the last couple of days, one minor improvement could be made. Push notifications, if you press the notification it currently takes you to the top of the page the post is on. Ideally it would take you to the exact post you have been mentioned or quoted if possible, or even to the unread line would be something.
  3. Love it. @Ehren mate, these updates are truly chef kisses. Give this man a pay rise! ScreenRecording_08-04-2025 15-36-06_1.mp4
  4. @Matt I should be on commission here you know 😂
  5. You have full control, run the update as and when you please from the admin panel as you would self hosted. As a UK user it works well as I do what you say, run mine around 11pm and the US support are on to help if needed. (Touch wood) not had one update fail and require the boffins to rescue.
  6. Couldn’t disagree more. Having been on the Cloud now for 2/3 years, I’ve not had one complaint with regards to speed and reliability on the EU servers has been insanely good. I think I’ve seen 2 very brief outages aside from planned maintenance, brief enough to make a cuppa and it’s fixed.
  7. I’m guessing the new update is live on this forum no as I see a banner pushing the web app. Anyhow, looks like it’s broken X embeds. See below:
  8. No it’s the post after my gif that I posted
  9. Side note, whenever I press on this topic from the homepage on an iPhone, it’s taking me half way so I have to scroll to the latest post again. Not sure if connected in any way if you’re running it here now? Just standard Safari, not using the web app.
  10. Oh @Ehren you little beauty, what an update!
  11. Could you not bring pull to refresh into PWA’s, would that still work in these situations? The new refresh button on the menu bar does what it says on the tin, for the real app like experience, the pull to refresh is more natural for iOS users.
  12. Can’t be have any content, that would ruin the Google insight numbers! I’m semi tempted just to run a 404 page for that sweet 100/100 score. Not sure how many members would stick around though.
  13. Can we get Threads as an option in social profiles, pretty please https://fontawesome.com/icons/threads?f=brands&s=solid
  14. Using Safari on iPhone, iPad and MacBook, X embeds are not great. We and I would imagine other football (it's football not soccer) forums would be in a similar position. Sometimes they don't show at all, you have to scroll up and down several times for them to load. They can also get cut off and only show 80% of the embed, quick refresh loads it better. If you give embeds unlimited width, in dark mode you have a large white box that stretches across the full post when using dark mode. I have filed a bug previously where the reverse was happening and this is the fix apparently. We had a large black box when in light mode, which yes it's fixed but now dark mode has the issue. Limit embeds to 550px, it does remove the issue somewhat, however it would be nice to just remove that background completely. I can see in the CSS you have tried background none, yet it's not working with Apple devices in Safari which are our most used. Example. Unlimited embed width. 550px embed width I haven't posted as a bug as much of this is difficult to replicate, the loading issues are not persistent where I can post a link and say look, there.
  15. When you read the release notes and see a number of things that you’ve been waiting to be fixed on there.
  16. Found it now I’m not under the influence of alcohol. Although on a positive note, the fact you can be drunk and easily update your forum with no issues, that should be on the sales page! For anyone else that was wondering, it’s in Advertisements as expected, and in this drop down menu.
  17. I see ads.txt redirect, where is that, sorry for being thick here.
  18. That’s it, I’m off to PHPBB 😭😭
  19. Not a major, but I’m not opted in to beta updates, yet I get the notifications still.
  20. Latest version on all devices so iOS and iPadOS 18.3.2 MacOS Sequoia latest update whatever that is
  21. Safari on iPad, iPhone and MacBook
  22. Just tried a new one on here (didn’t think of that), still the same for me 😔
  23. Has the X embed background colour in light mode been fixed in this beta? Where it’s a huge full width black block. It’s the one thing that’s bugging me and would push me to install a Beta on my live site 🙈
  24. Upgraded whilst using an iPad on a poor connection in a hotel room. It’s all about easy now this upgrading lark isn’t it. I know you got hammered for not allowing template changes and I get the arguments wanting to, however on the flip side, now it’s done by hooks, the whole upgrade process is a lot quicker. No more updating templates which was almost impossible on iPads previously.
