This feels like a well‑timed topic to highlight just how far the mobile experience has come.

Thanks for the great feedback, especially from a device combination which I haven't used myself. DeX seems like a neat feature.

Glad you've been enjoying the improvements so far! 👍

If I were wearing a hat, I would take it off and tip it to the Invision team.

@Ehren, you are doing a great job, as is the development team. These improvements are exciting because efficiency and performance do matter, and sometimes the thought behind how many interact can lead to great initiatives like this.

I'm looking forward to 5.1, even if I will be on 5.0 for some time before making the switch.

Hi @Ehren ,

Invision Community 5.1 brings a wide range of improvements to the user interface, with a particular focus on performance, accessibility, and usability.

I was super excited to read that 5.1 will focus on usability and accessibility amongst other things.

Please (for the love of all that is holy) finally address this endless scrolling issue in 5.1 where all the custom emoji categories are placed at the end of the emoji list instead of having their own dedicated tab like Icons:

For me, this single issue has been dragging on since 5 was first released and it still holds me back from upgrading my biggest and oldest community from 4.7. I want to upgrade before the end of the year and 4.7 is done but the community is almost 25 years old and we have dozens of custom emoji categories. Although my community is now dormant, I can't inflict the hassle and inconvenience of almost endless mouse and touch screen scrolling just to reach the custom categories on my members who do still post occasionally. I know it will drive them and myself mad so I've held off indefinitely.

Many thanks!

@The Old Man

You can solve that issue easily with little CSS in the theme editor:

.ipsIconPicker [data-role="icons"] {
    display:flex;
    flex-direction:column;
}
.ipsIconPicker__container [data-icon-category] {
    order: 2;
    flex: 0 0 auto;
}

.ipsIconPicker__container :is([data-icon-category="Emoticons"]) {
	order: 0;
}

Nice one @bags_ppp The following will do the trick too.

Looks like you can get started on that upgrade! @The Old Man 🎉

.ipsIconPicker__root-icon-area {
    display: grid;
	grid-auto-rows: min-content;
}
.ipsIconPicker__category[data-icon-category="Emoticons"] {
	order: -1;
}

Wow, thank you both for those suggestions. I will certainly give them a try! 🫡

I see the support forum is running the new reactions version. 👍

Profiles on the mobile look really nice.

Reaction icons are too far left.
