Hi guys, I just notice that after update to version 4.7.17 most of my third party apps where disabled, was this normal? I suddenly reach out to vendors, and realize that the apps were disabled after upgrade.

This did not happen on my upgrades.

From which version did you upgrade? Some functions had their parameters changed (example: \IPS\Model::setLastComment), so it's possible that the compatibility checker disabled those applications until you update them.

4.7.17

There hasn’t been upgrade code to disable third party apps and plugins in quite some time.

If you upgraded from a version prior to the PHP8 requirement, then yes, they would be automatically disabled to allow your community to work error free.

for some reason, our staging, disabled some app, but today, when I upgrade our production, everything works fine, not sure what happened on our staging, but on the production, everything is good!

That's the one you'd want to work, right? 😄

Great to hear everything is running normally for your community.
