Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
PinPics Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Hi! I've got two repeating (weekly) online events listed in the Events Calendar. On the main Events page, they show up perfectly: But, if I go to the search box and select only Online Events and search: The two online events don't show up. And they won't show up, even if I select the date on which they happen next. Do I have a setting wrong? Thanks in advance!
Marc Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Please could you do the following Test with all 3rd party items disabled Rebuild your search index from system>Search, and test again once rebuilt I have tested on my own install, and I'm unable to replicate any issue with this area
PinPics Posted January 30 Author Posted January 30 Just to follow up, I did try both of those things, but neither helped.
Marc Posted January 30 Posted January 30 We are unable to log into your admin CP unfortunately. Please could you correct this?

I'm going to have to drop this issue, then, for now. We have to enable that front-end sign-in, and after having to spend all last week with that to wait on a fix for the previous programming issue -- it was hundreds of e-mails from members who could not get signed in. We're in the process of discussing things with a Provider to get the rest of our site onto IPS framework. That way, we won't have this issue. I'll bump this thread then to get this fixed. Thanks so much! I'll definitely follow up with this. 🙂 Edited January 30 by PinPics

Create an event for today Set the event to repeat weekly, same day, for as long as you want. Save it So, you should now have an event that is today (30th Jan) and then 6th Feb, 13th Feb, 20th Feb and so on, correct? Yeah ya do... Or do you? Now try using the search for events on those specific dates. Result: 30th Jan - there it is 6th Feb - where's the event? 13th Feb - where's the event? Where's the February events? Really looking forward to the ease of everything on the one platform, and all the great features that IPS offers over our previous site. 1 minute ago, Nathan Explosion said: It appears to be very easy to reproduce - @PinPics, please correct me if this is NOT what you are trying to report... That is exactly the issue! We have two online events repeating weekly, and that's exactly what's happening. 🙂 I'm going to just input them individually for now, because it works with everything but repeating events.

Apart from its not showing up whether dates are selected or not, and Im unable to reproduce my end unfortutely. If he selects only "online events" and clicked to search, there is nothing shown either PinPics 1

I will definitely follow up with this as soon as we're transferred to IPS. Really counting down the days to that!!
