I'm confused. - Is there an option that members can moderate their own topics with permissions (edit, delete posts/answers...)? - No. I didn't add it. - Add it, please! Topic mod has to have the right to edit own messages in a topic. I've added "members can moderate their own topics". Looks like I missed "edit own messages in a topic." If so how it will be work?

I'm too :) 12 minutes ago, newbie LAC said: I've added "members can moderate their own topics". But there are cases when a topic moderator should not edit all own topics, only moderated. 12 minutes ago, newbie LAC said: Add it, please! How new setting will be works with other settings? I mean Can edit first post/question? and Can edit posts/answers? (excepting first post/question) Should we respect them?

Sometimes TM not the author of a topic and can't edit first post. 11 minutes ago, newbie LAC said: Can edit posts/answers? (excepting first post/question) Own post and someone else's posts - big difference. Group: 1. can/can't edit own post include first if TS. 2. can/can't edit someone else's posts.
newbie LAC Posted March 25, 2019 Author Posted March 25, 2019 13 minutes ago, desti said: Own post and someone else's posts - big difference. I know. I mean we can check Can edit posts /answers? (excepting first post/question) setting + Can/ edit own messages or only check Can/ edit own messages 15 minutes ago, desti said: Group: 1. can/can't edit own post include first if TS. 2. can/can't edit someone else's posts. I don't want split those permissions. It would be better add 2 permissions - Can edit first post/question? -- Selectbox with options Own posts / Someone else's posts / All posts - Can edit posts/answers? (excepting first post/question) -- Selectbox with options Own posts / Someone else's posts / All posts

newbie LAC Posted March 27, 2019 Author Posted March 27, 2019 Hello, Just inform I'll make some tests before release
desti Posted April 1, 2019 Posted April 1, 2019 Maybe will better use checkboxes? Remove 'All posts' (it doesn't make sense for "first post"), only 2 options more readably.
newbie LAC Posted April 1, 2019 Author Posted April 1, 2019 Hello, 14 minutes ago, desti said: Maybe will better use checkboxes? I don't like checkboxes. 2 clicks vs. 1 click 14 minutes ago, desti said: Remove 'All posts' (it doesn't make sense for "first post"), only 2 options more readably. All posts = Own + Someone else's

desti Posted April 9, 2019 Posted April 9, 2019 (edited) Thanks! FR ( whenever possible ) 1. Divide settings into two tabs (main permissions and other). Move seldom used settings like pin, feature, message, etc to the second tab, in most cases these settings not used. 2. Group settings like 3. Permissions template or "permissions copy from..."? All my TM have equal permissions, very tiresomely click-click-click for new TM. Edited April 9, 2019 by desti

jair101 Posted April 26, 2019 Posted April 26, 2019 Just bought this. Can you please advise which is the compatible version for 4.3 or I can safely use the latest one? Also one suggestion. It will be great if topic moderators can have a postbit badge visible in the topics they moderate.

Chris027 Posted January 15, 2020 Posted January 15, 2020 A couple users who I’ve given topic mod rights to, now report they can’t edit their own regular posts after publishing them. We allow users 30 minutes to edit their own comments to a topic, but these guys say that is gone after I have the mod rights to the topic.
Asm Posted January 16, 2020 Posted January 16, 2020 @Chris027, Can edit posts/answers? (excepting first post/question) -> On Types of... -> Own posts (or All Posts). It works fine.

Li3D Posted February 6, 2020 Posted February 6, 2020 Hi, I'am trying to let members moderate their own topics in only one forum : Here, I don't understand why I still need to fill topic ID ? I just allow them to edit their own messages : But they can edit every message (first or not) of every topic of every users 🤔 Is it a normal behavior ?
