sobrenome Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Please, make available a configuration option to show SUB SUB FORUM on the FORUMs index page.
sobrenome Posted November 30, 2013 Author Posted November 30, 2013 In the current index Forums page the IPS software shows the Forums categories, the Forums inside the categories and the Sub Forums of Main Forums. But if a Sub Forum has a Sub Forum nested, it's not shown in the index Forums page. You have to open the Sub Forum index to see the Sub Sub Forum.
rmbettencourt Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 :o dude, you lost me. :p Parent ---> child ---> grandchild (shown) ---> (shown) ---> (not shown) You would it to be like this: Parent ---> child ---> grandchild (shown) ---> (shown) ---> (shown) Did I get it? :)
rmbettencourt Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Haha! YES!!! :p Alas, I have no answer for you. :(
rmbettencourt Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 Sorry, but at least when someone else sees it, they will know what it being talked about. :)
Jυra Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 It would make index pages a messy and navigation intimidating to encourage such deep sub-forums.
PPlanet Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Maybe a tad off-topic but I have a question regarding this. Would such an option slow down the site? Or phrased differently, if we were able just to display the main categories with the parent forums but not the subforums inside, would this help with performance?
.Ian Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Maybe it is better to have a menu navigation system to take you to such forums? Too many layers and it becomes confusing
sobrenome Posted December 4, 2013 Author Posted December 4, 2013 I would be just a link to the forum, not showing topics.
rmbettencourt Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013  Aww, do not cry. I am sure if you message Adriano Faria, he will have an answer. He makes EXCELLENT mods. :)
