  1. Thanks, I've opened bug reports for these (we already had one for the AdminCP search!).
  2. This is notice of an upcoming PHP release, it's not tied to any specific version of Invision Community. In accordance with the PHP EOL schedule, I expect this patch release to be for 8.2/8.3/8.4/8.5
  3. Places API (New) is a new API required for 5.1. Google weren't very creative with the name for this, so it's almost got the game name as the old one.
  4. What's wrong with them? they're working as expected for me.
  5. 5.1.0 Beta 2 is now available!Changes since Beta 1 #7634 Display reactions in a more compact UI on mobiles #7636 Fix editor lockup when quoting on Android Chrome #7637 Reduce Tiptap typing lag from quote layout and node-view effects #7640 Fix issues with showing relative dates #7645 Fix issues with loading custom theme settings. #7649 Fix error closing follow modal #7653 Underscore References and Old Bundles #7654 Added header hooks #7658 Fix multiquote button reloading the page #7661 Fixed blog dropdown menus #7665 Let the editor toolbar stick on content forms. You may notice the Editor being a bit snappier in this release, especially when working with large quotes.
  6. Currently, no. As Esther notes, It's a big thing to resolve.
  7. There's already a bug report open to fix that 😇
  8. Thanks for clarifying that was related to customisations. Quoting on mobile is fixed for beta 2. I understand, these usually generate automatically based on labels but it doesn't look like we've used them where we should. I'll make sure we do that moving forwards. I have removed some leftover wrapper references to underscore in beta 2, I cannot reproduce them throwing an error though.
  9. Previously that depended in whether your device had a touch input, so it wasn't really consistent. I cannot reproduce this. if this is a dev/self hosted environment make sure your static/ folder is up to date (delete the contents first) with the download from the client area and clear your browser cache. Yes, we removed it because tapping on the author name now shows the profile card (inc mobile) which offers more detailed information. What's wrong with Notifications? With Quotes are you referring to the known multiquote / quoting on mobile issues or something else?
  10. We also talked about it in a news article in August: And removed most of our usage in March, but left the library in place until a bigger release (5.1) 5.X.0 releases are where we're going to make bigger changes like this, it's the right place to do it.
  11. That really depends on what your third party app does. We had to update many method signatures for compatibility with newer PHP versions. If an app overloads any of those then it will likely need updating.
  12. I've opened a bug report for this so we can investigate further.
  13. The Doors Are OpenThe stage is set. The lights are on. The final preparations are complete. After months of development, testing and sharing what's coming, we're ready to open the doors to Invision Community 5.1. Today we're releasing the first beta of 5.1.0. It brings new ways to run events, build and sell courses, offer premium content. We've also made significant improvements to performance and accessibility, along with plenty of other changes throughout the platform This is a beta, so there is still testing and polishing to do. We'd love to hear what you think as we work towards the final release of 5.1.0. Key changes include: Complete event management. Email Drip Campaigns (Professional, Business, Enterprise). UI Updates including accessibility and performance improvements. Limited Content Views. Courses improvements (Creator Plus, Professional, Business, Enterprise). Tag restrictions and suggestions. Staff Points boost and points per day limits in Achievements. We recommend using the beta on test communities and waiting until later in the beta process to update production communities. You can find the full change log here.
  14. Stuart posted a release in Release Notes v5
This is our Autumn feature release! This is the first beta release of 5.1.0 and marks the start of our final testing phase. For now, we recommend using the beta on test communities and waiting until later in the beta process to update production communities. Key changes include: Complete event management. Email Drip Campaigns (Professional, Business, Enterprise). UI Updates including accessibility and performance improvements. Limited Content Views. Courses improvements (Creator Plus, Professional, Business, Enterprise). Tag restrictions and suggestions. Staff Points boost and points per day limits in Achievements.
  15. Looks like it's just an issue with the Multiquote button. I have created an issue for it.
  16. The issue has been resolved, uploaded media should be loading again. Some users may have a few minutes delay until their local DNS cache expires.
  17. We're aware of the issue and are working to resolve it, we'll have an update soon.
  18. A patch has been released, including the following fixes: #7538 Fix an issue where purchases could not be reactivated once they were expired #7580 Restore inline-block on default-aligned editor media #7600 Fix TypeError when editing custom fields with empty or invalid content. If you are already running 5.0.20, this can be obtained from the Support page in your AdminCP. All new installs and upgrades from this time will have these changes included.
  19. The only change we made in 5.0.20 related to topic sync is to create a topic if an article is moved from a category that has forum topics disabled, to one that has them enabled. If an article has a future publishing date, the topic will too. That hasn't changed.
  20. See this topic: https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/topic/487876-post-editor-bug-cannot-properly-arrange-images-in-v5020/#findComment-3026881
  21. You're going to have to update your browser. Even something like Chrome 128 or 132 has much better modern support. I cannot replicate any crashes with Chrome 120 though.
  22. I haven't personally seen any issues with it, it reliably shows for me. What browser/device are you using?
  23. Next time you see this can you note down the RAY ID and send it to me? I'm not seeing any mitigations for your upgrade.
  24. 5.0.20 is now available. There's only one change since the previous beta. #7540 Port subscription upgrade logic from v4.
  25. Does it still happen here? in releases since 5.0.14 we've fixed some issues with older Chrome versions (I tested back to 128). Ultimately, though, we'll keep moving with development and support for older versions will eventually be removed.
