  1. How can you change the image though, if it's on-the-fly from the topic?
  2. Great work improving the ad setup (if indeed we have that on self-hosted). The cherry on top would be the ability to place ads (perhaps as widgets) between forum categories on the home page.
  3. @tpasa Just put the header code you have been given in the Header Ad location in Advertisements. Then you can set up ad locations with the other code.

  5. I think this could be the reason for the ad load issue, as it was posted elsewhere a little while back, and when it improved, so did the ad load/quality.
  6. Sure, I'll update that now.
  7. So it seems from 5.0.6 Beta 2 to 5.0.7 Beta 2 was fine.
  8. Beta 2 was fine, issue seems since beta 3.
  9. Same here! I appreciate @Matt Finger checking it out, but it seemed to coincide exactly with the latest update.
  10. @James Hargreaves Are you still having issues with ad loads? Even when it's loading a few, the quality of the ad is poor, like it's falling back on some default advert!
  11. @Marc Is there a way to perhaps revert to 5.0.6 easily? I'm thinking of overwriting the files, but then there is no doubt database changes within the betas, not sure if that would break everything?
  12. It's Google. I raised it in another thread a while ago, but it seemed to get fixed from what I think Beta 2 of the last version (possibly the JavaScript fix) It seems that on this Beta updated today, the issue is back. The areas are there, but it's not getting filled quickly enough and just remaining blank. It's mostly on Desktop but does affect Mobile a bit too.
  13. Strangely getting issues again with Ad loads on desktop with Beta 3. A sudden amount of blank spaces with loading.
  14. Few issues since the 5.0.7 Beta 1. I have a subscriber group that doesn't see ads via permissions on each advertisement to their group.... Now they see Ads. Also, a guest (spam post) could post in a forum only for registered members. Is there any way I can revert back to 5.0.6 easily, maybe by overwriting the files, or will something go wrong from the 5.0.7 database update? Any ideas @Matt if you are about?
  15. Just a heads up, the email to notify update only triggers when you click check updates in admin. It might be just Betas this is on, but pretty sure it's always done it since 4>5.
  16. Is that even better than beta 2?
  17. Ignore the above, I just uploaded a fresh file from client area and all sorted. It must be where I edited it for the fix before.
  18. Is it giving me an error for permissions on the upgrade sitemap file? Any ideas?
  19. Remember the issue of the Events showing the minimal detail on overview? That seemed to have been fixed in the last beta, but in the recent one, it has reverted to the minimal daily layout again.
  20. If they can get some luck and stay up this season, you guys could be playing them next season! 😄
  21. @Matt I've Beta's enabled since the last one, but nothing refreshing in Admin for this update.
  22. Since the beta version update, the events now show minimal details. Before, the cover photo showed an event on each day of the month; now, it just shows the full month with a link to the event page. Any ideas?
