I was using the IPS Forums until 2022 then took a break and I just renewed my license and updated the forum.

I am looking for a developer to fix and get my forum back running. I can pay for it (Not sure if this is the right place to post).

Help is appreciated.

My issue:

Even before the update, the login on the forum is not working (it just refreshes the page without anything happening).

If I login on admin it says invalid token IP every time I visit a page, I did add something in constants.php to fix it, but the main login on forums

won’t work. I also have one or two plugins that needs to be updated manually to support new PHP version (8.0+) currently on 7.4

Hoping to get this fixed.

Thanks,

Are you by any chance forcing https, but have http in your conf_global.php file?

Not sure, I will check this. I have tried to use incognito mode on chrome and I got this when visiting the forum.

You are seeing this warning because this site does not support HTTPS and you are in Incognito mode.

Do you mind if I send you my FTP details on private chat ? Or if you have anydesk we can do it through ?

Never send details though PM. You can update details in your client area when needed, but we arent there yet. You need to check that issue first of all. Also, if you are getting an error message related to https, you would need to sort out certificates and setup with your hosting company before anything else

I have cloudflare embedded to the website, should I force https? or anything I need to do in the settings ? Let me know how to start to fix this.

If you use https, it must be set within your conf_global.php file. We’re unable to advise you how to set up your hosting side of things

I forced it to use HTTPS and also using https in the conf_global.php but when I try to login nothing happens. i just redirects to

You will want to remove any HTTPS redirects you have on your server and just leave conf_global.php

That’s how it was earlier, only https on conf_global… No other https redirects.
