Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted April 19, 201311 yr I make sure to click "Follow" button after reporting a bug but I'm not getting any email notifications about replies. Regular forum notifications work fine.
April 22, 201311 yr http://community.invisionpower.com/index.php?app=core&module=usercp&tab=core&area=notifications Did you double check your preferences here?
April 22, 201311 yr Author I have forums and topics checked. I don't see any separate settings for bug tracker. Forum notifications work fine but "Bug Tracker" don't.
April 23, 201311 yr This should be made a little more clear though that it refers to Bug Tracker. Mine was unchecked too, and I wasn't getting notifications either, but I was too lazy to ask... :P
April 23, 201311 yr mine was checked, both types, still nothing but I may have screwed up on the tracker end itself too.
April 23, 201311 yr Author Quote This should be made a little more clear though that it refers to Bug Tracker. Absolutely. How would I know? I just checked it and I'll have to see if it works.

It applies to IP.Downloads, IP.Blog, IP.Gallery, IP.Calendar, parts of IP.Nexus (though we don't use the store here of course) and IP.Content databases.
April 24, 201311 yr Author It looks like it still doesn't work. I put checkmark in "Yesterday, 04:38 PM" You posted new comment/reply here: http://community.invisionpower.com/resources/bugs.html/_/ip-board/code-posting-still-not-right-r42001 "Yesterday, 07:01 PM" and I still didn't get any notification.
June 4, 201311 yr Quote Is there any update on fixing this issue? you still not getting them too? same here. TBH I sort of gave up.
June 4, 201311 yr As this was posted in the feedback forum and not in the bug tracker it was overlooked while we were fixing bugs.... I've gone ahead and posted a report here: http://community.invisionpower.com/resources/bugs.html/_/ip-content/email-notifications-r42417

June 24, 201311 yr been checked all along, looks like unchecking notification list and only leaving email checked may have been what finally triggered it to work for me yesterday. unfollowed and refollowed a few to see if it still works today
