Here it is a guide;on my site I have a directory links powered by IP.Content as it described in that topic and is working fine.

And the most of all, this is free and you are not dependent of the third party developers,it's based on the IP. engine.

Right know I'm using an older version of IP.Content and IP.Board(didn't updated to the newer versions),so,I think you must do some modifications/updates of the code in order to work with the latest version of IP.CONTENT.

Previously to do something like "record a hit" you would have used per-database callback plugins, but that has since been superseded by using data hooks.
