Hey Guys!

A lot of users recently asked for an explanation of emoticons. They don't quite understand what each emoticon means and love to have tooltip when you hover over the emoticon with your mouse.

This would also come in handy if you have ~200 emoticons in your board. We currently have the Standard IPB Emoticon set PLUS ~170 special symbols from the area of philately that would need explaining.

I concur; that would be a very nice feature to have.

not a bad idea ... just keep in mind..if you run a large quantity of smilies..and you run a shoutbox...make sure you dont make too many of your smilies clickable... because clickable smilies have to load when viewing a page, which in turn creates extended load times

Have no shoutbox - didn't even know that this feature existed ;)
