Raw HTML Widget theme issue
For anyone in the future who runs into this issue and wants their Raw HTML Widget to match their forum and themes, here is what you need to do: <div class="cWidgetContainer ipsWidget ipsBox"> <h3 class="ipsWidget__header"><!-- header title --></h3> <div class="ipsWidget_inner"> <!-- Your HTML content goes here --> </div> </div>Very grateful for ChatGPT to provide these answers and much more!

Raw HTML Widget theme issue
Is there another widget that is available that retains the theme information to match the other containers that I can still use with HTML?

Raw HTML Widget theme issue
Hello IPS team, Question, when added the "Raw HTML Widget" via Page Editor to my forum to show a Paypal donation button, it doesn't use the theme information to apply the style to the block. So it looks a little off and between my themes, it looks "tacked-on" so to speak. What do I need to do to make the Raw HTML Widget use the style-sheet information to match the themes when applied? It's missing the background and header of the other widgets. Look at the image below: (I managed to inspect element to apply the content box header but it's just per that one theme, it doesn't look correct across themes)

In any case, can you guys allow the size to go below 150? Or is there a way to change this on my end?

Auto-embed for Soundcloud & Bandcamp
Nope, not manual. Just using the embed link from the external page and using the embed button. Can't resize down below 150px. If we remove the iframe capability will this allow the embeds to work better or at least differently?

Auto-embed for Soundcloud & Bandcamp
@Marc @Jim M Sorry to tag you guys, but I wanted to draw your attention to a thread on my forum re: this topic. Specifically about embed heights. It looks like the minimum baked-in to IPS is 150px. Many of the music-related sites that offer embeds use a 'slim' player that is much smaller than 150px, leaving an unsightly white bar of empty space below the embed. Can this be something we can change? Or set to basically as small as we want? This is honestly like one of the final pieces to the puzzle of solving our most asked-about forum issues. https://forum.keyosc.com/topic/14-forum-issues/page/11/#findComment-9459 Thank you team!

LLM for making IPS5 Modules/Applications
Yes, one thing that I've noticed is it will spit out a bunch of PHP and XML files, and then provide a directory structure, but then when I ask it to change something it will revise all of the files, change the names of the files and then spit out a different directory structure with folders that weren't there previously. So yes it seems to be able to produce some kind of uncanny product that is able to fool me into thinking it could work. But I'm not a developer or a programmer at all I'm just some guy who has used a computer for 30 years, and if anything I'm doing is working it's because I'm failing upward or getting lucky. I appreciate your thoughts on the matter in any case!

LLM for making IPS5 Modules/Applications
Has anyone here successfully had Claude or ChatGPT make a module or app for IPS5? It seems to spit out plenty of stuff that looks good, but I can't ever get any of it to install. A few things I've been trying to make: Duplicate Account Detector (my forum has a huge problem with trolls and dupe accounts, people signing up multiple accounts with no way to stop them) Subscription Comparison Tool - This one is to automatically generate a comparison chart showing the privileges and permissions in IPS5 that each Group has,

Auto-embed for Soundcloud & Bandcamp
nope when I paste the link from the address bar from SoundCloud it's still a very large embed. The only way for us to get a small embed is to get the link that is generated in the HTML from the share/embed button on SoundCloud's website.

I have this setting as 300 down from 800 but it doesn't seem to affect the size of the embed that is automatically created when you copy the link from the address bar:

Our forum is very embed heavy. Back in the days of IPS4, a previous iteration of our site was able to simply copy the link to a track on Soundcloud or Bandcamp and a slim player would auto-populate without the multiple clicks needed now to embed in IPS5. How can we get this back? I would like our members to be able to simply copy and paste a link, hit post, and the players show up without taking up half the screen. Another issue is that, using the Embed links on these sites, you have to cut out the main link from the HTML bits, then click on the Link button the toolbar of this comment editor, then click the world button, then it 'might' generate the embedded player which 'might' be able to be resized. How can we use the full HTML embed in a post? Here is what happens when I copy a link to Soundcloud straight from the address bar (as opposed to using the Share button and generating and Embed link): This is a GIANT player and cannot be resized. Not good for us, unfortunately. Here is what happens when we instead click Share, then Embed, then copy the HTML to the player, then copy the actual hyperlink in the HTML, then click on the Link button on the comment editor toolbar, then click on the 'world' button: Embed HTML Code <iframe width="100%" height="166" scrolling="no" frameborder="no" allow="autoplay" src="https://w.soundcloud.com/player/?url=https%3A//api.soundcloud.com/tracks/231252819&color=%23ff5500&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false&show_teaser=true"></iframe><div style="font-size: 10px; color: #cccccc;line-break: anywhere;word-break: normal;overflow: hidden;white-space: nowrap;text-overflow: ellipsis; font-family: Interstate,Lucida Grande,Lucida Sans Unicode,Lucida Sans,Garuda,Verdana,Tahoma,sans-serif;font-weight: 100;"><a href="https://soundcloud.com/user18081971" title="user18081971" target="_blank" style="color: #cccccc; text-decoration: none;">user18081971</a> · <a href="https://soundcloud.com/user18081971/th1-evnslower" title="Th1 [evnslower]" target="_blank" style="color: #cccccc; text-decoration: none;">Th1 [evnslower]</a></div> Oops, I guess we can't embed these links in here, they're not allowed or whitelisted? Anyhow. I'm hoping someone understands what I'm getting at. See here: https://forum.keyosc.com/topic/14-forum-issues/page/10/#comment-5077

Preventing Moderators from Editing Administrator Posts
Thank you, I did reach out to him but wanted to see if we had a secondary option to limit editing of posts made by those on higher permission level.
