What is this magic?!

Similar content is a great feature for surfacing additional topics and encouraging engagement. However, Invision currently relies on tags for this functionality. The issue is that most members don’t consistently use tags, which limits the usefulness of the similar content suggestions. I suggest updating the algorithm to rely more on topic titles (and perhaps even content) rather than just tags. This would make the feature more effective and increase its value across communities where tagging isn’t strictly enforced.

I'm trying to design a new landing page and got the following error: Upon checking the applications, it says Pages are still on Beta 1, while the rest is all Beta 2. Maybe this is a mistake that was overlooked. 🙂

When you upload banners on the referrals page, the way they display could use some improvement. Is this something planned or could we ask this somewhere? Thanks in advance.

I have a member who's using the "Fluid" view under "Forum Index View". He says it causes the pinned topics to be listed first instead of by post date. Can that be rectified? Or some sort of filter added where we could exclude pinned topics? Thanks in advance.

I realize this may not be in their interest to implement this in their core product. I'm not asking them to consider this. But I would be happy to fund this if a 3rd party developer has a reasonable price to do this. 🙂

Unfortunately not, I’m not looking to integrate an avatar gallery, but Gravatar. Which automatically grabs an avatar upon registering, the same one you have set on Gravatar. This is a very popular service.

Could you possibly explain how I manage the resources? The list is empty and I’m unsure what to put there. 😅 That’s cool! Guess I’ll be contacting a few developers. Thanks! Anyone else care to pitch in as well? 😄

Is there a possibility to have Gravatar and perhaps a preset default avatar in IC5?

Just wanted to fill in. I've imported from 2.3 to V4. It gave an error, that the table xf_rm_resource_feature was missing. I've just disabled the importing of the resource and it the rest all successfully imported. Will now be working on upgrading to v5 and getting everything setup. Apologies to post this here, not sure where else to post it.

I believe I did the same, since 2.3 isn't available in the import selector on v5. Which ended up in an error. Most was imported though, but it shouldn't really end up in an error. Anyways, I appreciate the help. 😁

Problem is that I can't/don't want to revert back to 2.2 to convert. I haven't done it before, so I'm not sure if it's possible at all. But I'll see how it goes, going to test out some stuff and see what works best. Looking forward to get back into Invision.

lol, 3.0 is wishful thinking. They can barely make it to 2.4, let alone 3.0. So please, fix the 2.3 converter, so I can fully enjoy Invision. (:

Are the currently known problems with conversions between Xenforo 2.3 and Invision v5.0.7? I've lost count of times I tried to convert an existing community from XF to IC.
