Prune announcement list

Featured Replies

Is there a way to delete or at least prune the announcement list? For administrators or moderators , over time, it can become a very long list as well the older entries also become irrelevant

You can delete individual announcements by click on the checkbox or checking the top checkbox for options to check all. Then in the black hover box towards the bottom of your browser, click the trash can icon:

You can define how long the notifications stay in the database via the ACP => Members => Notifications => Prune Settings (it's the top right button)

I'd be interested in knowing the parameters... The reason I ask is I have accumulated six pages of announcements so it's possible what's automatic is not working

I can find out this, but before going ahead, is there a reason you want to delete those?
