JohnCourt Posted Tuesday at 01:19 PM Posted Tuesday at 01:19 PM (edited) Good morning awesome folks. I just had a little suggestion, or perhaps it's too late or a dumb idea. When I click on the "Prepare for v5" prompt in admin, I am presented with several areas that may need attention, and if I want to find out more about the changes, I can click a link to get to the Feedback Forum. So I click on the link, I come here, and I am having to wade through topics that have nothing to do with the areas of concern in preparing for v5. I wonder if Admins here, could create those topics in advance, and link those areas to that topic so we don't have many topics all over the place related to "Open Tagging" being replaced. Can we create a topic with the exact title below for example "Status updates have been removed in V5" and have "feedback forum" link directly to that topic, that way it keeps the forum tidy, and all the discussions related to this area in one place, instead of us having to go to the general feedback forum, and hunt and peck for something related to Status Updates and possibly creating a new topic asking the same question that was already posed. I noticed @PoC2 already created a topic for "alternate directory" and he titled it beautifully! So that one is already done, now we need to link it to the link that prompts us in our admin Prepare for v5 section pictured below. If we can do that for all the v5 changes that appear in the image below, it sure would be convenient. Thanks for your consideration. Additional comment merged: Actually, I just had a revelation, what I am seeing in my admin area, may not be the same as others are seeing in their admin prep for v5. So really there could be dozens if not a hundred different scenario changes, making it impossible for admins to create different topics for each v5 change that shows up to us?
