Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted September 1, 2024Sep 1 This morning I look at my site in my usual Chrome browser, and it looks like this: I visit invisioncommunity.com and it looks like this: The two sites look fine in Safari on my Mac, or even in Chrome on another Mac. After I go to my ACP and clear system cache, not only my site but also invisioncommunity.com display correctly. I wonder what could be triggering this issue?
September 1, 2024Sep 1 Solution Likely your cache on Chrome got corrupted or otherwise outdated. If after clearing your browsers cache it corrected, it was just a local cache corruption issue.
September 1, 2024Sep 1 Author Thanks Jim. Isn't it odd that this happened only for two websites, mine and invisioncommunity.com? Or do they have common CSS files that are cached in the browser?
