4.2.2 Moving Gallery content - empty albums left behind?

Just wondering if this is by design, as no warnings were shown.

Had a Gallery category containing several albums of photos by various users.

AdminCP > Gallery > Category > Move/Delete option.

All settings left at default in the wizard so as to move everything, except for Delete Content which was unchecked, and new destination Category selected (already containing albums).

After completion, all photos were moved into the indended category but without their respective albums. The now empty albums in the source category all still present.

Going to have to try to manually correct them.

This might be a bug.  It should move album --> album and image --> image.
