Ocean West Posted June 15, 2017 Posted June 15, 2017 So as the admin i have my personal Facebook / Twitter accounts associated to my admin profile. I went to the ACP and thought I could connect my alternate forum related accounts to the social media promotion but it seems to be tethered to my personal accounts (used for also for login) Am i missing something?
Jennifer M Posted June 15, 2017 Posted June 15, 2017 The Facebook one needs your account because you should be associating it with a Facebook Page. For Twitter you should be able to associate a different account. You do have to log out of your personal account (from your browser) and associate the correct account then you can log back into your personal one.

Jennifer M Posted June 15, 2017 Posted June 15, 2017 On the Facebook integration app you need to add a few permissions. As the error says you need to add the manage_pages and Publish pages permission. Once you do that it will give you the ability to create the screencast to show Facebook how it's used and the how-to to do it.
Ocean West Posted June 15, 2017 Author Posted June 15, 2017 Omg i have to setup a test user and create a video walk thru for FB integration? the chicken and egg thing i can't create the videos if the feature isn't available. Can't enable the feature till you create and submit the video?
Jennifer M Posted June 15, 2017 Posted June 15, 2017 No. Once you enable them they should be available for you to use immediately as the app developer. You do not need to setup a test user. I did it on my admin account.
