Sub forum listing order

Hello,

I would like the order that my subforms are listed to be linked to which forum has the most recent post/topic.

Is this currently possible?

Just be clear, 

I'm happy with my main forum structure, but in some of the sections I would like the subforms to be linked to recent post order in the same way that topics are.

It is not possible with default functionality but you may be able to get a mod maker to create something for you. The idea is interesting though.
