February 23, 201014 yr is ipboard ever gunna support gravatars? It already does. If a user doesn't have an avatar set, it'll use their gravatar by default. :) Edit: There's also a setting "Allow users to use Gravatars?" which appears to be 'Yes' in a standard install, but may be turned off on your board.
February 23, 201014 yr Author ah ok, so whats the diff between a photo and an avatar? and is there anyway to use just one?
February 23, 201014 yr The avatar is the (small) picture shown next to your posts and personal messages. And the photo is only shown in your profile. See Dan's profile as an example.

February 25, 201014 yr IPB supports avatar and personal photo. You cannot shut off either (although you can remove permissions for a member to update either). A member can optionally use the same image in both locations, or use different images (as I do, for instance). But no, there is no way for you to (through an ACP setting) force both images to be the same.
