  1. I've been working all day waiting for the moment to get home and update my community. Everything is fine here. THANK YOU to everyone involved. The version is getting better and better.
  2. But we, Self-hosted customers, don't get anything for free. No one here is using services without paying for them.
  3. Beta:7 and 8 will be release this month ? I'm asking because of the upcoming end of year festivities.
  4. Just to be clear, my comment is not related to @Adriano Faria, I had no problems with him. But rather with other PROVIDERS who today no longer respond to their customers.
  5. I will not afford to pay third-party developers again. Many of them barely respond to their customers after the marketplace closed! I have purchased several third-party plugins and some exclusive ones, some of which were very expensive and I have only lost money. I send messages and the developers do not respond, or they simply ask for more money for something that has already been paid for and there were promises of updates! It is difficult to trust third-party developers again. I know very well that it is possible to develop this and any other feature, but what guarantee do I have that I will receive updates from at least decent support. I no longer recommend anyone to buy services from third parties.
  6. Yes, it's about the profile pictures, that's really cool!
  7. It's not related to the topic, but how do I get a photo like yours? I looked everywhere, I think these photos are so cool!
  8. I understand all ! Let me be clear that I am not questioning the way you manage your business, or trying to offend the work of the entire team, especially since I am a developer and I know how much effort you are all putting into the official launch of a new product. I really just wanted to understand the issue of self-hosting, whether or not it has the "assign topic" feature. The other features have already been offered in the cloud, so I know that to have them I would have to be a cloud subscriber. As for the "assign topic", when you manage a gaming community, assigning replies and topics in general is a brilliant feature, and it really gets me excited, so much so that I started using the services again because of these announcements! Anyway, if any of my posts directly offended any member, whether on the team or not, please forgive me, it was not intentional.
  9. Why not release these features for us to test in BETA? This could boost cloud sales, as we could test something that we somehow like and that would be useful in our communities. Not that this is my case, unfortunately the extremely high price does not allow me to dream of getting this product.
  10. Sorry, but your transparency doesn't mention anything about the new features in v5! As mentioned before, I went back to using IPS after some time as a customer of another software (VB). I only return here because for a specific feature. This feature I clearly won't have access to unless I become a "Cloud" customer with a fat package of features. Which unfortunately I won't choose to do, the cost of doing so is unfeasible. When I signed up for IPS and purchased the software, I thought - I found the perfect solution for my community, a few years later the announcement about the cloud service appeared and the cool features that came with it. I went back to the origin, tried to convince my community to get used to the idea of staying with VB, especially after the removal of the marketplace, where it was already clear that major changes would affect us customers (Self-Hosted). It's not about cars or other types of products, it's about the marketing you did in favor of the launch of the new version, which brought about the change in licensing prices (Self-Hosted) and everything else. Even with these changes, I once again believed that it would be possible to have something really different and new. I am a customer of yours with 2 licenses, I renewed only 1 because it was in the testing period and the disappointment was huge, not because of the software, your work is beautiful, but your communication unfortunately left something to be desired. You could have announced this several times in several topics. I'm sure that many of your customers have a community in live mode, just like me, and many chose to participate in this BETA stage because of these new features. Not even during the BETA period did you allow us to have access to these features. We have not received any information, there has been no decision as you are saying. But being very transparent with you, I doubt that any of these new features will reach the customers of (SELF-HOSTING). If this were the plan, it would be available, even to help us report possible problems with it. Analyzing all this history and history, it is regrettable to think that we will have to look for another software in the future, or perhaps soon?
  11. I'm also not going to buy caramelized popcorn advertised by the seller and receive salted popcorn! Think about it. I believe that the biggest question for all of us (self-hosted) is not the issue of resources. But the impossibility of having these resources just because we are (self-hosted). I see you responding and arguing that they are resources and packages. So why cancel the existence of packages for self-hosted? Creating a sub-product of a product and in a way "Forcing" customers to be able to enjoy certain resources only if they buy a sub-product of a product from you. If only this were really a package! As when buying a car, the argument you used above, there are optional extras to be paid for separately. But the real situation here is different, we customers (self-hosted) do not have the option of including new resources in our "PACKAGE or product" as we see fit. We are limited to what you offer and nothing more. There is no option for an optional extra. These packages are all available in package levels, one better and larger than the other, only for customers of another product of yours. I'm sure that if we (self-hosted) really had this category of "PACKAGES" there would be the possibility of extending our resources even if it required additional payments. But that doesn't exist. At least since these resources were announced, they have all been included exclusively in the "CLOUD" product!
  12. Not available for Sef-hosted for now ! I believe this only available for Cloud Customers.
  13. These are really very inviting features. However, you need to mention that these features are not available to all of us. I came back to the community after years because of a specific feature & even without this feature I am here helping by reporting problems with a version still in the testing phase. It is sad in a way to feel excluded, but it is a reality that customers (self-hosted) do not have all the features available, but we have a redesigned interface and an improved text editor. Assigned topic (This is the feature I wanted most from this version) because of the type of community I manage, I made lovely promises to my support and development team, unfortunately we all ended up disappointed to know that these features will probably go to "Cloud" customers and as mentioned before, a non-profit community with experienced developers would not opt for the monthly cost of a cloud service, as the cost we would have would be too high. Our infrastructure is of quality, I am sure it would not be a problem to run all these features. But unfortunately these are the features that will give Invision more financial resources, because they would be released to the customers self-hosted Isn't that right?
  14. @Marc With 8.2x the upgrade work fine automatically.
  15. Yeah I use php 8.3x Then you recommend change my PHP for 8.2 ?
  16. Is normally this ? BETA 5 I get this, now I get this for BETA 6
  17. No, as I mentioned I did a clean install. After the installation was complete I took the backup data from the first installation, since the data is my game guides. So I sent this data to the table and then this error appeared. Since then it has never gone away!
  18. I believe that this does not resolve my problem, because I reinstall full IC5 and this appear on the page.
  19. It would be great if the IC team could decide once and for all who will be able to use the subscribed topic feature. I really appreciate this feature and it is definitely a feature that every community needs to have. I would love to test this in my community, it was one of the features that made me renew my license, and make myself available for the IC5 trial period! Please give us a position regarding this, my members ask me about this feature all the time.
  20. So if I create specific classes and define them there, the classes will load without problems? I had tested this in the past and for some reason it didn't work. I'll try again!
  21. On current version the column prefix for groups have value : varchar 250 but this is small value for us to define colors and personalization in our groups. Through this I suggest changing it to a value greater than or equal to 500. In this value I was able to define my groups without any problems. However, the support tab will alert me that there is a problem in my database, due to the change in the value of this column. I use it this way, but to use it this way it was necessary to change the column value as mentioned above. However, the support page keeps alerting me about this change and that is not good. The idea is to increase this value or somehow remove the information that this is a problem.
