(FOUND) How to edit the default footer?

Featured Replies

In the bottom of my page - https://forum.of-black.com/ - it says Copyright 2025 Of Black. I'd like to know how to edit this, I've tried the theme editor but the code there is blank so where do I actually go to just edit that to say 2026?

Thanks in advance.

Nevermind, I found it. It's in another setting. Thank you.

Copyright © <script>document.write( new Date( ).getFullYear() );</script> Of Black

It will always display the current year.

I checked on this, as we have our established date for copywrite, rather than curent year.

Found out his:

A website copyright notice should display the year of first publication (e.g., © 2015–2026) to establish the earliest claim of ownership. Using a range (first year–current year) is best practice to show the site is actively maintained, though just the first year is legally sufficient.
