How to share my forum with GPT?

Featured Replies

I'd like to be able to have ChatGPT be able to read all of the posts in my community, and then help me pull customer stories and wins from it.

Any advice on how to best do this?

I wish there was a way to just take the sql database file and convert it to something more readable and manageable in size.

Theoretically, long as your community allows guests to view it and is not blocking requests from ChatGPT at network/server level, ChatGPT can start indexing it just like Google does.

You then would just likely need a prompt to let it understand how to look for information and what URLs to look for that information that you're seeking.

I've not done something this complex with ChatGPT on a site where it may need to learn several URLs but I have done something like "Help me brain storm digital marketing campaigns for this URL" so it can inference from it and index the page if needed.

Hmm... I don't think it is feasible at the moment. The Agents can browse the web, but I don't think they are capable of something like that - at least yet.

LLMs like ChatGPT don't crawl your entire site, but in theory they can crawl anything guests can view with the right prompt.

llms.txt is a new, experimental standard some sites are starting to publish to declare their rules for large language models, but it has not been adopted yet.

For now, the best thing you can do is run a test to make sure ChatGPT can crawl your URL and it's not being blocked by something like Cloudflare.

Because ChatGPT would probably ignore the replies from forum posts, one work-around might be to use wget to download the pages and then upload the HTML files to ChatGPT allowing you to fully scan them.
