How do I make a profile field appear in the author pane?

Featured Replies

I've created a custom profile field for myself (the admin) and I've set it up so that it appears when I submit content, yet it does not appear in the author pane to the left of my posts, What could I be missing/ I've done this before and it works for a previous field I had created, and I can't see any difference between the two fields.

Thanks a lot Marc. I ended up finding it!

I was trying to remember, from memory, the workaround shared by @opentype in the that topic.

The one thing I was missing was to actually enter "Something" in the text field. I've entered that, and now it's displaying as expecting.
